Abortion is a murder. No one should decide over the life of the rest. A woman should not be allowed to kill his son. Is like if your parents decide to kill you. We must save lifes.
the more profound question is what would be done to the abortion providers, doctors who pledge, "first do no harm"? The issue is not about demonizing the woman who is in a horribly difficult situation. If abortion were made illegal in my state I would still be working to help women and families who feel devastated when they receive the news of an unplanned pregnancy. Our society can be more compassionate there.
Yes, and there will be a small number of women that will still commit paid-for, premeditated murder on their unborn child (capital murder, even). Should we include the death penalty, life in prison, what should we do to the murderer?
It is a very tough question. I think you're right in saying a small number will still do this. I would guess it would be a very small number and I doubt anyone would ever know be cause it would be so private. In the rare instance where a woman commits that premeditated murder there should be a consequence. I can't imagine that played out in real life. do you know of an instance pre Roe v. Wade? I don't.
Yes, most can't imagine it, it is quite difficult. That's why it's important to ask these tough questions of politicians, to see if they have a firm understanding of what happens when they make/change very important laws like this one. Unfortunately, no Republican had a good answer for this during the Youtube debate.
