  • Fantastic! Thanks a bunch!

  • Thank you so much for sharing. I never thought of using Herbal Essence, or anything not on the "ethnic hair care aisle".

  • Very cute, wasn't sure what flat twists were, but I have a feeling I will be wearing this style a lot. Just trimmed and scenes out my hair today, so It's (my hair) is ready! Thank you!

  • This was a really nice video! I'm a white teacher, and I have two students, originally from Somalia, both of whom are really interested in hair styling. I don't want to lecture them or inhibit their creativity; nothing wrong with straightening now and again for fun and variety - but when they make comments about not being sure that relaxing is a good idea, I try to gently reinforce that concept! :)

  • @MoonyAJ hi! saw your comment and that's very thoughtful and responsible of you. We need more caring teachers like you :-)

  • I wish I could rate this 10 stars! literally. thanks so much for showing how you started the flat twists with the same motion as if you were doing cornrows. I think using this technique. my twist out will be more defined. great vid.

  • Hello I featured two of your videos on my blog on Tumblr BessEvvaStyle

  • Nice video! what exactly is a co wash? The howto really helped i think im going to wash my hair tonight and try it :)

  • I'm doing this tonight. LOL

  • Your videos are always so great. I'm so doing this!

  • are you suppose to do this every night? if not how do you wrap at night to prevent naps and preserve the curls?

  • I love it. I have relaxed hair and I tried this technique recently and received tons of compliments. I tied the hair with a silk scarf to sleep and when I woke up, it looked like a birds nest. Horrible. Is it a must that I retwist at night. If so, do I comb out the twist and then retwist?

  • Girl, you're too much....lol. I love the end result, and I love your videos.

  • Love that style, super cute! I love that you used jazz as used background music!!!

  • @seemyhealthyhair did you wash out the conditioner on was it a leave in conditioner ? I'm only 14 and i am having a hard time doing this style . . .

  • Nice!! I love it. Easy and pretty style. Cant beat that

  • Thanks so much for this video. I hope I can do this.

  • Very pretty, and you twist so well!

  • Thats Nice!!!

  • uggh you make flat twisting your hair look so easy. We need a tutorial on slow mo! lol

  • Best one I've seen so far! Thanks for sharing your wisdom!

  • It looks nice but could be a little longer.

  • this style is so cute...i just learned how to two strand flat twist the other day...lol! i think im gonna try it :)

  • I love the definition you get in your twist out...I tried a flat twist out for the first time over the weekend (actually left them in for a day or day & half), but I was upset when I took them out because I expected it to be more defined that it was. I think my problem was that since I do the baggy method at night for moisture, my hair was not fully dry when I took them out. So, I am trying it again before I give up on the hairstyle and this time I will make sure they are dry!

  • Loved it...I'm gonna try this soon.

  • cute!!

  • hi is that a conditioner you are suppose to wash off? or a leave in one

  • i still dont know how to do that, i can barely part my hair. but too cheap to go to beauty salon. but i now how to do a twist out fro

  • Ohhh sooo cute!!!

  • Looks great on you! Do you just finger comb it once you twist it out?

  • I think I will try ur method it looks fast & easy and the outcome IS NICE THANK you 4 sharing

  • I like the fact that you just get straight into it, no talking, just a process that I can sit and watch. Brillant!

  • Nice job! The finished product looks very pro..well done

  • cute im bout t2 try it on mi cuzzo head then do mine but do u relli have t2 use dat stuff in ur hair.......................

  • cute im bout t2 try it on mi cuzzo head then do mine

  • Wow, the finish results are great!

  • wow, seems so simple

  • ...just like that, huh? lol niiCe!

  • Just too cute!

  • You make this look so easy!! Your hair looks fab!

  • I have never seen those satin sleeves for the foam rollers? Where did you find yours?

  • Your hair came out so nice at the end! This is much better than wetting my hair everyday...I'm going to have to try this too!!

  • When you will show new video with rollers in her hair? Taste of your videos!

  • Very cute.

  • Love the video, love the music! My hair is halfway to bra strap length, but I will try this anyway!

  • very cute! i love the little cap!!

  • that was really cute - what type of hair do you have I'm a 4cc I mean kinky but nice hair and I don't know if that look will happen like that for me but I tell you what this weekend I do plan to give it a try and see what happens. So if I do smaller I'll get a fuller look? should i use setting lotion or the conditions as you stated here?

  • Very cute style! I think I'm going to try this out today. Thanks!

  • That is too cute!! I need to get better at my flat twisting technique. It looks quick and easy enough to do even if the twist are not as neat as yours. Love it!!

  • Oh thank you, thank you, for a video without unnecessary speaking (I wish more natural hair vloggers would do this). I wish there was just a bit more light in your shot, but otherwise, nice job!

  • that is awesome! I've never thought to try twist out using corn rows before. You've inspired me.

  • Oh, after looking closer, I see the twist. You did make that look easy! I'm not skilled yet, but I'll work on it.

  • That came out cute, but it looked like you braided it down instead of twisted. Is that correct?

  • thank you. loved the video. didn't miss a beat & straight to the point. kudos!

  • Wow I will have to try this. I'm trying to transition to my natural hair. Now I know some styles I can do when my hair grows out more.

  • iLike this:)

  • your hair looks so defined. Did you get cut to look that way. If so how often and what is that cut called?

  • where did you get the satin caps from?... they seem so hard to find

  • @mostluved15 you can find them at Wal-Mart. the package of foam rollers comes with the satin caps already attached.

  • Thank you.

  • your hair turned out great.

  • Very nice, I just love your videos

  • you hair is good. mine isn't good like yours. :(

  • Hi!

When you retwist it at night do you have to add more conditioner to it or do you just twist it?

  • I liked this video you put a little twist on it by adding the cap at the end to hair dry your hair with flare, cute!!!! I will have to try that, I usually put a scarf on but the hat is cuter!

  • i cant flat twist but i do have that conditioner, i think ill try it with a two strand twist...i love that whole line of conditioners!

  • bravo, girl!

  • Your hair looks really cute!! My question is do you re twist it like this every night? If so, do you re wet your hair everytime you do it?

  • wow beautiful !

  • beautiful!!!

  • Wow you made that look easy!

  • Great! I am going to try this. You have beautiful hair.

  • came out great

  • THANKYOU!

  • That came out really cute

  • SUPER CUTE!

  • ur hair is beautiful!!! easy to do, yet pretty

  • That was a great tutorial!

I love that your videos are quick and straigh to the point without endless rembling.

When my TWA grows out I will gladly try this style.

    Thanks!!

  • perfect!

  • nice job

  • what song is this?

  • Great styling. Thanks for sharing.

  • Very nice! It came out perfect. I like your videos. I think I'll do the same with the six to 12 month grow out before chopping of perm. I have two months already.

  • Is your hair relaxed at all??

  • Omg thats beautiful!!! I am going to try this...You make it very easy to do

  • thank you for doing this video!! I really need to learn to flat twist my hair since i'm transitioning. & I use HE Frizz Free conditioner too :)

  • This is rly cute. When I do mine I use more twists, but I may use fewer and see how it comes out!

  • What song is this? I like it.

  • Super Pretty! Love the cap!! 1 ? when u took down the twists how'd u hide the parts? Or do u not have this issue?

  • I try not to make neat parts so when I pull the hair apart it hides more easily.

  • ok thanks! Be Blessed!

  • Love it!

  • Thank you!

  • Yeap, u r fly. Thanks for the video.

  • lol.... thank you!

  • this is very cute i love it =]

  • Thank you!

  • amazing!!!!! have you worn this due when you work out?

  • I usually will retwist at night do my workout and then go to sleep. It stays better for me this way.

  • dang you made that look easy as hell!

  • it helps that I speed up the video lol... the magic of movie maker. It get's easier with practice though :)

  • @legslikewhoa Okay. Thats what I thought, lol

  • @legslikewhoa yes she did, ugh when i do it my hair is a hot mess but im getting better i always try to do a million twist i will try this

  • great video! how crazy is it that i have both of those hair products in my bathroom right now? lol

  • great minds think alike:)

  • I like that cap!

  • Thank you, I made it myself

  • so you dont have to use leave in conditioner

  • You can use what ever works well with your hair type. There are no set products needed to obtain or maintain this style.

  • nice!

  • thank you:)

  • Nice! It looks so much easier and less time consuming than doing tiny twists all over your head. Thanks for the tutorial.

  • Your earrings are pretty! Thank you for this video ;)

  • Thank you for the compliment:)

  • It came out nice!! I use the flexi rods when I do the braid out.

  • I love flexi rods... I have a whole bag full!

  • Wow, you did make that looks so easy and it came out looking great!!

  • Thank you!

  • you make it looks so easy...ima try it when i wash my hair tomorrow.

  • How did your hair come out?

  • Not so good. I couldnt get the twists to stay put. I may have been doing em wrong.

  • your hair is so pretty!! i wish i could do that with my hair :(

  • You can... it takes a little practice.

  • ur hair came out really cute with few twists..thanks for the music..im orderin her cd..very nice..thx sis

  • Did you get the cd? I bought another one too!

  • Your hair looks great :)

  • Thank you!

  • nice easy and pretty

  • Thank you!

  • I love that hairstyle and I am going to try it this weekend. I will let you know how it turns out. Thanks

  • Very pretty :) I will try your way. I didn't think you could get much definition with only 3 flat twists! Wow! I normally put at least around 15,20 or more regular twists to get the definition I want. Thanks for making this video :)

  • how does this work on longer hair. I have two younger sisters with really long hair, it goes all the way down their back, and it seems like it would be difficult to do this style with long hair

  • I think doing twist on longer hair is just as easy. My daughter's hair is long and I have no problem doing her hair like this.

  • @seemyhealthyhair On the contrary, it seems harder to shorter hair like mine.... I can't wait till mines is long enough to do ANYTHING with it

  • WOW!!! great vid!! Your hair came out so PURRRRTY!!!! I will have to try on these kinks. Will DEF need more twists.

  • I change it up... sometimes I do a few twist like in this video and then other times I will do many for a fuller look.

  • Was it hard to get that part down the middle without frizzing up your hair?

  • so u leave in the reglar conditioner? i've heard about that but then i get mixed reviews. isnt it bad notto wash it out?

  • THat's cute and nice music

  • I cannot wait to try this! Thank you!

  • i love your vids!

  • I love your videos too! :)

  • @seemyhealthyhair

I love this video! I was wondering is your hair natural or relaxed/colored? Thanks!

  • that is cute..i will have to give it a try..good for work

  • Thanks for the video, I going to try that tomorrow.

  • That looks great. I have to try the bigger section twist :)

  • do you think i could use this on my relaxed/transitioning hair? to be honest, when i relax my hair, my hair partly ignores the relaxer so my hair is still curly, even though i have relaxed hair. however, my curls are not as tight as my natural pattern.

  • Yes relaxed or natural hair will work well with a falt twist.

  • i love your tutorials....

    excellent, thank you.

  • my pleasure! Thank you:)

  • Your hair is very nice and you did the twist so easily, I'm not very good at that yet and I have been natural for three years.. Could you please tell me where you got that hat you used to cover your hair while it air dried ?

  • It takes practice. I do this style alot!

    I made the hat :)

  • Thanks for another great idea I'm still transitioning & will try this style when I take my weave out :)

  • Hope it works out for you! Thanks for stopping by:)

  • As I always say..great tips even though I'm relaxed, your tips also work on my hair. I love the music on your videos, where can I get it!!

  • My husband was in the underground music circle and he has loads of CD's. I got this album almost 8 years ago. Maybe you can google Delilah Harris and see if you can find it that way. Sorry :)

  • Thanks for this video! As the weather gets cooler, I'm realizing that wash & go's aren't the way to go for a while! :-) I'm looking for new styling options. This was helpful.

  • Exactly! Going out in a wash and go style in this weather is suicide lol! It's my go to hair style!

  • That looks very nice. I'm amazed at how easy you make it look. Keep up the good work!

  • Thank you! I think I get alot of practice sense I do it almost every night.

  • That's great! I generally air dry my relaxed hair and do a bun or braidout. I'll have to try this soon!

  • Oh, please do. Post a video!

  • Very nice result! Where did you get the black knited hat?

    Thanks for sharing

  • I make them:) It's crochet.

  • IT'S REALLY NICE!!! I'm used to the VO5 conditioner but I was thinking about giving the herbal essences a shot. What's your hair type?

  • I like the herbal essence because it's a bit thicker then the vo5 and suave conditioners. I do use the vo5 and suave as a rinse out conditioner.

  • Love it!

  • Thank you:)

  • Very nice!

  • Thank you:)

  • thanks for the new style i need something new

  • I Luv It....U Go Gyrl LOL..
