Personally, I think that the perfect "Punisher" movie should be a high body count sequel to the long-coat wearing Thomas Jane Punisher (sorry Ray, but the english accent wont do) written by Garth Ennis (the hands-down BEST Punisher writer) and directed by Michael Bay (say what you will, the man knows his special effects and camera editing) with Bob Sapp as Barracuda.

This was, in my opinion, a way better depiction of the Punisher than the Travolta movie.

punisher is screwed up ever since any Director took over. I have know idea where they get these guys from but, they don't fit the description. Think Clint Eastwood/Sam Fisher type. A guy who is in his late 30's or early 40's. Rugged, rough unshaved. But then again, what do I know, I'm just a comic illustrator.

Suck, because the have change punisher from Thomas Jane to Ray Stevenson, what happend a new punisher, come in the story, that sucks donkey ball, come on how many many punisher do the have inte the city, so that the can change when the want :(

Woah....you sir, are more deserving of taking on the task of making the next Punisher movie than any man I have seen thus far. The man playing Frank himself was a brilliant fit and the general mood was just right.

I was kinda hoping, since a Punisher movie based on the Marvel Knights series was made, that there would be a Max-based film as well(i.e. Yorkie Mitchell of M.I.6 or Barracuda, etc). Ah, well. Looks like another mob-related fic that'll be released next year.
I wonder...what if the Director (Lexi Alexander) got that ingenious sadist Garth Ennis to write the script?
P.S. I think standing upright without cover firing from the hip is a stupid move, but what the hell, it's just a trailer...

BTW, Lundgren's Punisher is still the best. The 2004 verison, well, if they were ever doin' Tarzan remake, they wouldn't need to look for Jane too long, right? ;)))

yeah, because lundgren is still a pretty boy. Thomas Jane did fantastic, its funny though that a simple tweak in the story and despite a good story you people throw fits over it.

I wouldn't call Lundgren pretty, you have strange esthetic standars mate :PP Anyway his portrayal of Castle was far more believable than Janes. Jane could play either Tarzans wife or your neigbour kinda guy; he was badly miscast, and his "trying-to-be-tough" voice is ridiculous. Sadly. Oh, BTW, WHAT good story??? ;))) Did you see the same film?

That dosn't matter ... I know that's just a fan clip but the new guy Ray Stevenson never will be on the same level with Thomas Jane.

I'd like to know; what was the rifle used by Castle in this fanmade trailer? I noticed the USMC Ka-bar knife(and it's efficiency) and the Mini-Uzi Machine Pistol(a little monster that fires 900 rounds per minute) but what was that rifle? Was it the Ak-74?
Just curious.
P.S. I've always wondered: how the hell does he get all that weaponry anyway? Surely it can't be THAT easy to get guns in the U.S.
