You guys are good! I saw a preview for your album on TV that played the song Valleys in the background and I immediately had to look it up. I listen to a LOT of different rock/ metal groups of all kinds and you guys definitely bring something different to the court. And I like it. You're like a combo of a few of the groups I listen to. @StrummitSummit Ehh that's hard to say. A Day To Remember make hardcore pop punk. Without them a lot of bands would not be around. To be honest I had never heard of Close Your Eyes until I saw them on the video for ADTR's music video. I believe Close Your Eyes is a great band and writes amazing music but without ADTR lets be honest they wouldn't have the recognition they do now.

@36dprince The riffs from ADTR are very similar, very punky. ADTR just have more chug patterns in parts of there songs. But a lot of there stuff is similar, the only thing really different about close your eyes is the drum patterns, it's close to being straight punk. But other than that, a lot of things are similar, there not '2 different types of music' pfft.

They don't even thank them in the cd booklet. I would have to say they were more influenced by hardcore bands such as With Honor and Stretch Arm Strong.
