I have also just watched hot tub time machine funny movie takes place the year this movie came out!!!!!! there was a freaky part in the movie where they showed reagan giving a speech and a mayday parade. i didn't really live through that time didn't see much as i was very little. how bad was the soviet union back in those days? great song!!!!

Wow...movie soundtracks really took off big time in the 80's ( Footloose, Flashdance, Top Gun, The Lost Boys,Cocktail, Dirty Dancing  and were as well known as the movies they represented) today movies just seem to slap together a bunch of singles most that arn't always featured in the movie.
