I loved this video, Jeannie! Hmmm... it's time for a TNG marathon night... will have to dig out my favorite episodes on VHS! LOL!! I will def have to check out the "Death in Winter". I absolutely LOVED Peter David's "Imzadi" books about Troi & Riker. BTW... if you haven't seen "Lion in Winter" w/ Patrick Stewart & Glenn Close... I HIGHLY recommend! Cheers!
I'm glad you like it Celineac!! My episodes are on VHS too lol! Death in Winter was good -- read like a very well written fanfic, although I would have liked more P/C and less Romulans ...but then again I am spoiled and can't get enough P/C...
I have seen Lion in Winter and Patrick is AMAZING in it!!!!!!!!! (and so is Glenn Close)
wow. What a concept, what a great video! I had no idea that there were so many certifiable P/C "moments". Whoa! When did they kiss!? I don't remember that episode?! When was THAT? =)
Thanks Kufrfangirl! Bev and JLP have kissed 3 times: in "Allegiance" (Although it was aliens disguised as Picard), at the end of "Attached", and the best one was in "All Good Things..."
Seriously?! That's incredible! Thanks! That makes my little shipper heart all warm n' fuzzy. =D The latest STNG novels, like "Death in Winter", are very good AND have a little P/C romance!!!! Plus the Captain and the Doctor beat up some bad guys! Highly recommended!!!
Well, there is some romulan politics, but it's definitely worth the read...the relationship of picard and crusher is depicted realistically and it was very easy to be satisfied with Friedman's development of it as if it were actually cannon. Which, I think is a very important aspect. In my eyes this book is how TNG really ends.
I just started reading "Death in Winter" and I'm LOVING it!!! The beginning is awesome! Wow, Bev and Jack's wedding, what better beginning can you get? And I really liked the background on Bev from when she was a teenager... it's making me jealous that my life isn't as exciting... except when she is sent on the undercover mission -- no thanks!
C'est vraiment genial! Good work Beverlyjeanway!

I'm gonna check that book out once I finish my current TNG book: The Buried Age. There isn't too much Romulan politics in "Death in Winter" is there?
BeverlyJeanway 4 years ago
No, not really. Some assassinations, etc. and Romulans basically just being evil. =)

The only thing is, there's no suspense -- I can always flip ahead (I know I shouldn't but it's just too exciting lol) plus I know she can't be dead...
Anyway, I love hearing Picards thoughts on her :) Thanks so much for bring the title to my attention!
