  • Search at M$ for a MSDN Webcast including Webcast-ID and you'll find nothing. Do the same search with Google and you'll find exactly what you're looking for ;-)))

  • Forget 'adapting' to longer snippets, I just want longer ones period. I would like to set it to always show maybe 4 or 5 lines.

    Then choose "more text".

    I disagree. We all listen to paid actors reading scripts all day long.

    I'd rather hear what the actual engineers sound like. I think that's the whole point of these videos. A kind of disintermediation.

  • Agreed to some point. I agree that it is mostly to show the people behind the site. Next to that it must be cool to present the things you have made. Most people are proud to show when they achieved something right, and these people sure deserve to be.

  • I agree, paid actors suck. But, there are many great speakers in Google videos who also create Google products. Just choose one person from eac department to do all the videos from that dept. Best of both worlds. Anything but this, really.
