Perhaps I'm odd, but this is the only remix/version of the tune that does the c64 version justice. Even the music on the Amiga version sounds crappy if you ask me.

Wow, have you never heard Reyn Ouwehand, Puffy64 or Gavin Lucas' remixes?
I like this one but there are lots of great Last Ninja remixes out there.

Wow, I was able to find remixes by the first two you mentioned, and they were awesome:) I couldn't find anything on YouTube about Lucas doing Last Ninja stuff. Ryan's version is really kick ass.
