1.Turkish music is more western aimed then Iran.. the traditional instruments/music they 'do' play is derived from acient Iran..like the tambur..ney etc. 2.All arab music is derived from Iran through islamic conquest.

3. Zyriab jumpstarted flamenco music by creating the guitar derived from the early setar

We went to Ebi's concert last night. I must say; it was absolutely horrible. He was so drunk on stage, forgot all his lyrics, sang completely off...The concert was horrible.
