I already know, everything I read and hear overall the Panasonic Viera G10 15 or V10 is the best. Cnet compared the G10 almost as the new king of the hill next to the Pioneer Kuro. If you go on hdforums everyone on there tells you Panny plasmas are the best overall. They have better customer service then samsung and sell more then the next two top sellers combined with only a 3% failure. Also the new 2009 panels have a 100,000hr life, with no more burn in then any other tv. F samsung.

Is there any way that the sony KDL55XBR8 & the samsung LN55A950 could be there instead of the sony XBR9 and the samsung UN55B8000?

The XBR8 and the 950 are superior in Picture quality to the XBR9 and B8000.

those are the best LCD's on the market.

I would like to see how the best lcd's go against the best plasmas.

Why the Sony XBR9!?!?!?!?!

The Sony XBR8 is superior to the XBR9 since it features a superior video processor than that featured in the XBR9.

Unless this shootout includes the samsung b750 series, declaring "king of hdtv" would be entirely meaningless and this shootout a waste of time.

Unfortunately, we cannot put the B750 in the shootout because it is Samsung's second tier product. We are only showcasing the best line-up which is the B8000 line.
