What the fuck is he doing? At 0:26 you can clearly see him looking in his left wing mirror to spot Heidfield, and then he lets him thourgh and expects sympathy from us? Even they are a lap behind he should never let anyone through just in case.
bourdais is one of the many highly tallented drivers that should have done well in formula one but their luck was down, the car wasn't proforming and lost their drive. dispite being an audi fan i wish him best luck at lemans this year, few drivers could be more deserving of that crown.
only alonso were using intermed tyres...the other 3 drivers had dry tyres..it's important to see how vettel pass bourdeis with the same tyres!! (alonso in the last lap from 8 position arrived 4th)
Bourdais wasn't pushing to the limit of grip. There wasn't any wheel spin, no understeer and no oversteer. He just wanted to bring the car home. (And who can blame him? I would've shat myself 57 times in those conditions!)
which position had Heidfeld before he changed to inters? somebody Knows? cause many people highlight the last lap of Alonso passing from P8 to P4, But i don't remember where has Heifeld before, i think taht was behind Alonso 2 laps to end, but Nick finish third, second finally when hamilton was punished.
Only Vettel and Kubica didn't have intermediate tyres, hence the obvious lack of grip while battling with guys like Heidfeld and Alonso who did have inters...A real pity what happened to him in the very next race...4th on the grid, just short of team mate vettel's pole time, before his car stalls on the grid...the Vettel romps away to victory while Bourdais finishes 18th...I really wish he would have been given a second chance
@nitroboost8765 - He wasn't "just short" of vettel's pole time in monza 2008. He was 1 second off of it. He was owned by Vettel in 2008, and then in 2009 he was continously beat by a 20 year old rookie in buemi which resulted in bourdais deservedly losing his seat to a the youngest f1 driver ever who proved to be a better driver than him.. I don't see why Bourdais should be given another chance.
At the moment There isn't a lot of rain on the track but still it is hard driving in a rainy condition without wearing the inter tyres so it isn't bourdais fault of loosing we know his nto fast but we still has to respect him...And if his not good at driving so how the hell he got in f1.,... THINK ABOUT WHAT YOUR SAYING ANDRELINHO23 before you write a comment!
There seems to be a lot of confusion as to who had which tyres... going by memory it was Alonso and Heidfeld on inters, Vettel and Kubica on dries. Alonso must have been because he also passes Kubica and Vettel in the last 100 meters, and the speed difference between Heidfeld and Bourdais through pouhon was immense, too great for the two to be on the same tyres.
He was nearly in tears after this race, sad day for him but in F1 you gotta be good or your out on your ear. All those drivers who passed him were indeed on dry tyres. He just couldnt cut it as a F1 driver
@FRFM00 I agree that french is hard, but you say that because you're used to speak like you're chewing something :D dont consider another language according to yours like it was the only language in the world or something like that... people think english sounds like you're chewing gum or something, like german is barked, like italian is sang, like spanish is spoke with something in your mouth... you just have ton consider the fact that some people have other standards
@mouloudo People think when we speak english it like we're chewing gum? who are these people? you and a few friends! ive never heard anything so ludicrous! where as french speaking sounds like a donkey! haw-hee-haw.
So, let's see, after 18 races Bourdais had finished in the points (top 8 back then) twice, qualified 4th at Monza and set second fastest lap during the race in Japan, only to get screwed by the stewards and not get any points. And everybody said he sucked and should be sacked.
For Alguersuari, after 18 races, he has a best finish of 9th, which he got just once. Why the double standard? How come this clown still has a job?
@markko17 how can you call Alguersuari a clown? Alguersuari is only 20 years old and is pushing Buemi to the absolute limit. Also the Toro Rosso 2010 is simply not quick enough to score points with it. That Buemi and Alguersuari are scoring some points in the Toro Rosso, is because they´re both great drivers. Not because the car is good. The 2008 Toro Rosso was better than the 2010. Bourdais has had 2 teammates and is destroyed twice. Bourdais is a clown. Alguersuari not
@illpwnyou1 Bourdais is not a clown. He's won 4 CART championships and has done well in other motorsports. He's a great driver, maybe not in F1 though. Watch out for him next year. I think he might land a seat at the new team next year, along with Heidfield i hope :3
@illpwnyou1 well he got " destroyed" by Vettel the most dominant driver now, so then it was easy to smash him because his teamate, a youngster, was better, but now that his teamate is world champion and will probably be the youngest two times world champion, and the only one back to back since Alonso, I think that you can consider Bourdais a little more
love Bourdais, but the form of the French race came into question once again at the World Cup ... fancy not shaking hands with the opposition coach ... arrogance personified .... good to see someone humble like Sebastian exists ... sad to see him go ... but hey, he's got the life, the woman of his dreams, and a great family :)
You are halfway wrong and halfway right. This is lap 44, Heidfeld (passing him at 0:30 ) had stopped on lap 42 for wets, Vettel (passing him at 0:42 ) and Kubica (passing him at 0:45 ) had stayed on dry weather tyres just like Sebastien. Alonso (passing him at 0:55 ) had stopped on lap 43 for intermeds. The early stop for wet weather tyres (and Hamiltons 25 seconds penalty) had brought Nick on the last two laps from 8th up to 2nd place.
@muse527 Take your own advice. From this video you can clearly see only Heidfeld and Alonso pitted for inters, yet Bourdais still got overtaken by his own team mate and Kubica on slicks. ;)
@gilardo11 Do you mean Kubica and Vettel had intermediate tires? You are wrong, they had the same tires as Bourdais. French did not do well this GP by his own fault.
@DanyelATHtrece Did Vettel have intermed at that race? Fuck it, I liked Bourdais more than Vettel in Torro Rosso (I Still don't like Vettel for some reason, xD).
@gilardo11 no, Vettel and Kubica had passed Bourdais during the last lap on identical tyres. Heidfeld was behind Bourdais, Nick stopped on his penultimate lap for intermeds and came up from 8th to 2nd. Alonso was in front of the Bourdais-Kubica-Vettel-Heidfeld-train, dropped back behind this group sind he stopped for full wets in his last lap and overtook Bourdais, Vettel and Kubica again.
What the fuck is he doing? At 0:26 you can clearly see him looking in his left wing mirror to spot Heidfield, and then he lets him thourgh and expects sympathy from us? Even they are a lap behind he should never let anyone through just in case.
