. everyone rolls stats differently. it's usually 3d6 but one could use the point-buy system or a d20. the only points you add to your stats are the bonuses you get from your race, which are in the players handbook, and bonuses from magic items or spells.

if your an elf you get +2dex-2con if your human you get nothing. I assume your playing a human or an elf.

@DarkCode You could do that but it's so much more fun when you get the stats that you roll even if they're low. The challenge with low stats is great. Sucks when you play with ultimate gods who can solo a dungeon on their own. With low stats, you'll have to depend on your party to survive which is what I love about d&d.

I would take an AR15 over a P90 any day. No one owns a P90 anyway; if a soldier uses one, he does not get to keep it when his time is up. You cannot legally own a P90, no matter how cool it is in your video games.

Ok first of all it depends on what versions you and your friends play (3, 3.5, 4 but 3.5 is most common) Then you want to make sure it is d20 based and from wizard because there are many posers out there who will sell books based on 10 or 15 d.
