Dude i had to change the water pump on my dodge and was about to buy a sprocket tool from NAPA - but then i saw this tried it and it work to the T- awesome tip save me money and time -I followed the rest of the videos in this series and everything went amazingly simple - car purrs like new - changed water pump, timing belt, oil pump,sprocket seals and crank seals all of these exposed at the same time might as well - this dude right on the money.
im getting my Audi's timing belt fixed right now, also other parts too since it an interference engine, i saw it's process and its alot of stuff to do. It's like a whole days work.
That's why I like rear wheel car. so much easy to replace then front wheel

So in theory....... i can just switch my cam sprockets backwards and upgrade my 2.0 to a 2.4.

Oh, and the 2.4 is a non interference motor, so you're not going to run the valves into the piston

Use a camshaft sprocket locking tool. Check the k-series belt removal video on here to see how. ;)

never use the timingbelt to lock the sprocket, this will damge the belt and most likely wouldnt work.

the sprocket wasn't even touching the socket while he was unbolting.
At least pretend like you're cracking the bolt loose.
