Agreed. Maybe change the ending so she doesn't get sucked up through the roof and end up in a carpark, because in the trailer it shows her still in the control room, except the control room is just destroyed.

Portal and Half life are in the same "universe". I think what they're trying to do is get more of a storyline to Portal so both games coincide with each other. As I understand it (because I don't own the HL game myself but I've read the plot) the guys at Black Mesa want ship which was built by Aperture laboratories, so perhaps this is their reasoning for holding off Half Life 3 for so long - They need more of a side-story for Half Life 3.

This is the sequel to Valve's game Portal, a game where you play as a "test subject" in the Aperture Science Computer-Aided Enrichment Center. The majority of the game is you going through the test chambers, solving all these puzzles, your only company being gun-toting turrets who try to kill you, an inanimate weighted storage cube who can't talk, and GLaDOS, the being who puts the "computer" in "computer-aided". Things get a little fishy as you near the end of the test, but that's all I can say
