  • Fuck year Octopus Che.

  • fuck this guy...ian can tap that with one hand and make it sound better.

  • WOW this is really good<33333

    ~SeliendaSmiles~

  • Ian is still in the band. he just doesn't tour. he writes songs for Darius Rucker

  • I think Ian Williams did great work, and I love his music, but all this hype about them being a 'cover' band is dumb. Their new guitarist from Creta Bourzia is a much more consistent player.

  • q incomoda la posicion de su tambor!

  • Agreed with above. Easily II, followed by what burns.

  • when was ian williams in don cab? i thought he played all the stuff on american don

  • Ian was in the band from 1992 - 2000. Yes, he played all the stuff on American Don. This is the "new" Don Cab essentially covering old material.

  • wow ive only heard of these guys and this song is lethal

  • damons snare is so low! omg i dont no how he can play like that lol. thats awesome

  • what would u say their best album is? i really into the tapping and guitar based side of them

    x

  • It's *really* hard to say what their best is. Obviously all just opinions. My favorite is American Don. I don't know if I'd call it their best as some of the other ones stretch in many more directions and have really mind-blowing parts in terms of their complexity. The thing I like most about American Don is how dense some of the songs can be, yet every sound seems to fill the right void and it all comes together so beautifully. Plus I like the S&S Ian best, which American Don has more of.

  • I agree, i think American Don was thier best effort

  • deff "what burns never returns" and "american don"

  • Nice work! I love good prog like this!

    Great Musicians~

  • its called leverage, when your almost 6'4 you kind of need it. Also, as you can see Damon has a style all his own, every drummer has a different set-up. Damon has been playin his snare low since Half Life.

  • any one kwons why the drummer has the snare drum on the floor ???

  • yes, very hard to play it...

maybe he need more space for the left hand, i don't know why

  • Viva Don Cab indeed, the new guys sound awesome on Punkgasm!

  • Damon Che IS the most important member of the band. End of story.

  • these new kids aren't that great.

  • damon che was a huge part of Don Cab, he is basically the backbone of the band because one of the reason's the band is so great is their rhythms. They go through such complex rhythmical structures and that isn't possible without a ridiculous drummer

  • sounds like a cheap imitation of the original

  • with or without ian, don cab is still better than most...

  • word, a bit sonicly challenged now... but keep on rockin che

  • Ian is gone get over it, we should feel fortunate that Don Cab still lives! Viva Don Cab!

  • i hate to sound like an intolerant purist asshole, but this band is a glass half empty without Ian William's guitar wizardry

  • your absolutely right

  • seriously, why even bother calling the band don cab anymore? 1 of the 4 original members and he's the drummer. it's not like he even wrote those guitar lines. whack

  • I'm in this camp as well. I feel like Damon Che is a tremendous drummer and vital to the Don Cab we all love, but is too highly revered shouldn't have continued the band. Although, I guess I'm sort of a hypocrite, as the next chance I get to see them, I will go, if only to hear these songs. I don't like the new album very much.

  • Yeah.. using the name to bring in fans is sorta lame. Just make a new band...

Old Don Cab just had a synergy that I don't get from this stuff.

  • "It's memorial day on Monday, so fuck Don Cab."

    "But they're not even playing!"

"Ah you know what i'm saying, just in general."

    LOL

  • this show was amazing, as is every don cab show ive been too. Hail P-burg, but Cleavland was cool, I mean come on they gave us Bone thugs, right??

  • Ha Damon Che was fuckin wasted.

  • They all were. Gene said he had been drinking a lot of vodka & coke, so the guy sitting on the stage next to me (who was already too wasted to stand, really) somehow made his way back to the bar and got another vodka & coke for Gene. He was holding it up to him in the middle of one of the songs and Gene grabbed it at the next break there was.

  • nothing to say like ians much better

  • weird rendition of ian's solo :/

  • fucking looks it :P

  • THIS SHOW WAS FUCKING GREAT!
