Today most muslims have a negative view on Americans so what Obama is trying to do is to bring back that peace that once existed between the US and the Middle East before Bush came to office at least so that most Americans can be less persecuted and hated abroad and be free just the way they were before Bush!
He has also made some progress even in most Latin and Central American countries concerning the US image in these countries...
