From her book; during the editing the Italian director told her; "you're with child"; she said she thought he was in the sun too long; but he told her that the sparkle in her eye showed she was with child. She did a pregnancy test and found out she was pregnant; Neil went and bout $150 worth of tests; and she was pregnant. They had been trying to have another child. She was pregnant with Hana in this video and didn't even know she was prego.
I just respond and always wish that someone out there could take up the chalice she drinks from, hmmmm,! I am at a loss, not by being a desert, yet, I am a fair anology of this, thank you, yet, I You were the 6th to help summon the Elven Rangers, 24 more people are needed to summon the Elven Rangers.
I just respond and always wish that someone out there could take up the chalice she drinks from, hmmmm,! I am at a loss, not by being a desert, yet, I am a fair anology of this, thank you, yet, I long for a cool drink of water, that will quench! Yet everyone is just a vision, a mirage, that I long for, a dream, that disappears when I touch it!
je l'ai adoré, je l'aimerai, c'est toute ma jeunesse, même si d'autres sont arrivées, elle restera la meilleure chanteuse de tous les temps............................
I LOVE Pat, have since 1980, this has always been one of my favorites by her. Her hair in this video looks retarded but she will always be cool.....and look how young Neil is, OMG, I am so old! LOL!
I love how her videos tell the story along with the song. That's what videos today are lacking. Pat Benatar is one of the best artists & her vocal range is awesome she truly is a pioneer in my opinon.
one of her most underrated songs in my opinion, she had several that just never got enough attention - if you think you know how to love me also comes to mind.
@logogogo395 in the we belong video they dont really shoot her below the waist ever, but this song .. lord I didnt' get the words to it for years and it was this verse:.. through concrete canyons echoinng a world of other places, no diretion looks like home .. where is my oasis (great line)
You don't even want to know what I been singing to myself, but lets just say Madonna's gonna dress you up in my love I thougth she said "gonna dress you up in nylons all over your body )
Every one must hear Pat's version of "Crying" on her multi-disk cd "Synchronastic Wanderings"....I guarantee, that song will make you weep. And, it was a B-side reject for her debut, In the Heat of the Night, in 1979. Thank god they released it on her greatest hits cd.
I love her in so many ways she is the epitome of voice and words, I truly feel all that she sings in so many ways and will always will look for the oasis!
Modartist100 you couldn't have said it any better! all my words to a T! this song has gotten me thru relationships and tuff times and happy! I LOVE ThIS SONG too much :)
Was looking for this, thanks heaps to all you people who know a great musician, this song is the best, I'm from New Zealand and not a lot of people I know like her, but I don't care I love her, her voice is just beautiful to listern to, Thanks.
this song is mellow and would never have been a mega hit like many of her others.... not that it is not worthy...just not commercial enough. I personally LOVE it!!!!!
This isn't my favorite Pat Benatar song, this is my favorite song, period. Her voice is beyond words. The guitar, the feel, everything about it is perfect. "No direction looks like home, oh where is my oasis?"
no offence to those that like it...this is boring and mellow as a song. maybe that's why it wasn't released as a single or get the radio play it " deserves "
i have to be the amen corner to everyone that gives this song praise...it's so damned good...pat is tender, vulnerable, reflective...it's scrumptious in its melody...i have the tropico cd and it's one of my most treasured pieces of music...not only that...what's up with people not feeling sex as a weapon...it is such an ironic, knowing song...i can't believe that no one got the song...truth be told...sex is a weapon that always seems to work...especially on weak men...
First time i've heard this song and i love it...great melody, and you can hear the full range of her incredible voice. EMI can you put up more info on what albums these tracks are off, when it was released etc...thanks
@CarlMan2010 This song is on her album "Tropico"...however I don't remember what year it was released (I used to know this).....it's times like these that make me feel pretty old, LOL.
This in my opinion is one of the best songs ever done .. beautifully written and Pat's voice is one of the strongest and most beautiful voices I have ever heard. Being a musician I have looked my lifetime to find a woman with a voice of her quality to work with... There just isn't another out there.
pat benatar is the shit. same for trower, my dad show me this music and im glad he did. She has awesome vocal this is my fav song by her. My dad use to work out this song and now i do. GO PAT!
This is one of my favorite, yet obscure, Pat Benatar songs....

Great song, even if I prefer her singing hard rock. Her voice is nevertheless amazing.

It's simply criminal that this song and "Outlaw Blues" weren't released as singles off of TROPICO and got no airplay. So, so sad.
This is a beyond awesome song. Effortless vocals.
Pat and Neil, you guys ROCK!
