How strange! I am living the same thing over here (in France!). And with strawberry handmade alcohol... I am plugged on this song for tonight and I can't stop listening to it. Wow. Mind-boggling!
Definately my fav MLB song. I remember before the internet made music so easily accessible and I had to go to used music shops to find the Apple and Rhapsody in Chartruese albums. ((memories))
Im a MLB fan ...theres a select group of us....and love being able to talk to others that melt into this music. I love it. ..itls really great toi be around other fans.
MLB has a very autumn-like feel to it. Hard to explain but their songs make me feel like you do when summers gone and everything's orange-crimson and winter's coming. I wonder if the songs were written in the fall or something.. Let the summer come again.
im 12 so i wasn't around to be able to ever see them in concert, but ive been listening to them since i was a baby, no joke. my parents were grungers so that's always awesome. amazing band! :)
Probably my favorite MLB song. I've listened to this since the early 90s. This song is what I was listening to when I found out the Andrew Wood had died. So sad....
Did anyone make the last Satyricon show in Portland Halloween 2010? Napalm Beach, The Obituaries! Andrew Wood woulda been proud, I watched George get carded at the door! He. He.
LOVE ROCK is what this is. Comin' from the mouth of the man who wrote this and many more great songs.
Andrew Wood.
You are a man that most of the people who visit YOUTUBE and "claim" to be musicians wish that they could be, even 1/1,000,000 of a percent as good as you were.
You are sadly missed. Thank you for being you and opening the door for many more. Love, peace and friendship. May you rest in piece. ☺☺☺
We are looking to release 21 years after the death of Andrew Wood who was a very good friend of mine. A video never before seen footage live in concert, along with a few songs never heard before as a 2 DVD/CD set. I'm sure most who love MLB will enjoy this video. However we would like to have a response from you people if you would be willing to purchase a video of such. Please post your opinion here if you are interested. Thank you
if u dont understand the time and place of this music and how it sparked what is, or was the start of grunge, and how what a tragedy it was to lose such a great singer and artist, hes one of those types that would have probably changed the world, or at least a nation through his music alone. then shut the fuck up, or at least keep yer stupid fuckin opinion to yerself. there is no category for this music. its just simply fuckin great!!!!!
Iƒ your not an Andrew ƒan and what was MLB then go away. You obviously dont see it. RIP Andy, and ƒør the rest he was a catalyst ƒor change. He had it beƒore it was here. ƒorward thinking, nothing in the way.
stone gossard always had a unique form of making melanchollic songs. i suposse that if andy wouldn't have died, many pearl jam songs would be from mother love bone, with andy giving them different melodies for vocals and in a very unique style.
how could you even compare this 2 (pussy) my chemical romance like come on he can't those notes they can't make guitar riffs like that lmfao look at costumes there just a pop band with a lil make-up on 2 hide there pussy's.

MCR is a crap band. As for music catergories, that to me is how people who listen to more mainstream music define what they like and what they shouldn't like, before even listening to it. For instance, can anyone think of 2 "grunge" bands that sound the same? No? So it wouldn't make sense for someone to say "i don't like grunge". I hope you can all see what i'm getting at. I know what I mean. lol.
@istayhighx420 Not fair to call him a dumbass man. More like a wrong choice. He didn't plan on being addicted and eventually falling victim to the needle.
@demoballa Firstly, he didnt make just a wrong choice common in most people's everyday lives, he royally fucked up by taking his own too soon. Secondly, he wasn't addicted, he was experimenting something he shouldn't have. He did overdose on heroin by means of needle. At MOST u know that.
@TheJohnnyDeppFan101 Are you high? Andrew Wood was very addicted to heroin. Stone Gossard and other bandmates from Malfunkshun spoke about it as well as others. Do your homework next time before you try and sound like you know what the fuck your talking about. Jackass
@demoballa No I'm not.I'm simply relaying the facts. But do save the stupidity for someone who is as ignorant as you.Andrew Wood died of an allergic reaction to the heroin substance at Virginia Mason Hospital in Seattle, while induced in a coma from the earlier overdose. When addicted, the user develops euphoria and an array of symptoms like abscesses, clogged blood vessels, and exhibited apathy or lethargy. He had no such symptoms pending the cornorers exam, therefore, it was ruled an accident. Idiot.
man i stumbled across this band tonight. im already adicted. i wish andrew wouldnt have overdosed. i understand now why candle box alice in chains and others made tribute songs about him. this group would have been huge. so many good songs on one album. i havent found a song i dislike.

I'm just saying that it's not even close to what emo is supposed to be.
It's not really emo, My Chemical Romance is just alternative rock. It's actually quite upbeat and peppy. It just doesn't make sense in that genre.
Honestly you just sound like some stereotyping assohle when you talk like that. Music HAS categories and if you don't feel like getting them right, fine. But don't call someone stupid because they understand what music belongs in what genre.
personally I wouldn't want grunge back as much as I like grunge I would like something new. A new genre; the next Nirvana as some people would call it.
Ha first of all, I love your name. And second of all, I completely agree. My bandmates and I were actually talking about this a while ago, hoping some day maybe we can help usher in a new era
dont call me an idiot i dont appreciate that.... i was always told he died from alcohol. i didnt kno fuck u 4 callin me an idiot...i simply didnt kno how the man died.
Andy wood was a gift to music for he is what completes the Mother Love Bone sound. His flame will will never die out for he may be gone but his voice still sings on
This track's kickin' my ass... can't stop listening to it. I only heard of this band a couple of weeks ago... A friend turned me on to Stargazer, and that was it, game over. I'm devouring this band now... Man, where the f**k was I in 1989????
I hadnt heard any MLB until i picked up the 'Singles' soundtrack a few weeks ago, damn ive been a Pearl jam fan for a long time but only read about Andy Wood. iIsee what the fuss is about now
its been ages since ive heard this. i woke up this morning with the opening guitar bit and "in the morning, she gone crazy" and i was like 'crap whats the bands name...ahhhh!" im glad i remembered heheh
i'm just awaiting on that dream...

...I did, it's alternative rock and yea I never said they didn't suck, just that by definition they weren't technically "emo."
Learn how to get over yourself and stop acting like a tool.

You guys are kind of retarded.
To me you guys seem like you two are bull shitting each other. Since you guys are both right MCR is alternative/POP/Post-Hardcore/Emo.
In my opinion they suck, but that's just me. : P
FaggotwithaCause 1 year ago
Not it's not emo, it doesn't sound anything like emo. Listen to the band Jawbreaker, they sound nothing like that.
I guess you could argue that it's "post emo," but I'd like to see their influences before I decide that.
it's just alternative rock with power chords to make it sound like it has a "punkish sound," in reality it doesn't sound anything like that.

lmfao; in reality

Well, both Soundgarden and Aice in Chains are re-united, and Pearl Jam was there for us all the time....

Ashigoh 2 years ago
personally I wouldn't want grunge back as much as I like grunge I would like something new. A new genre; the next Nirvana as some people would call it.

@FaggotwithaCause
Ha first of all, I love your name. And second of all, I completely agree. My bandmates and I were actually talking about this a while ago, hoping some day maybe we can help usher in a new era

Amen. I wonder what kind of career they would have had.

There would be no Pearl Jam if he hadn't O.D.'d...
Would M.L.B. have been eclipsed by the Seattle scene that they later became part of?
guitarlips1 2 years ago
They might have equaled Pearl Jam's status. Its a shame. They and Sublime were both bands that could've had long long careers. Heroin sucks

@ECOOL76 I agree heroin does suck and it takes too many lives...
