  • I think it may help by adding an angled plate or piece of metal from the dust spout to the suction hole to help the dust flow downward with gravity.

  • @808ROTY09 Not sure exactly what you're suggesting? The back is at an angle and does slope down to the collection slot

  • Excellent... so you run 2 hoses... one to the box... and one to the standard dust port....?

    If any dust escapes... where do you see it?

  • I have seen a miter saw with a different kind of dust collector at home depot. it was only a ridgid 16 gallon shop vac and a ridgid chop saw and the hose was very badly damaged from the metal strap holding it to the dust port
