I hope you see my point. To take these specs as a measure for how modern, innovative or high tech a car is, is just not right.

The SLS has a 6.2L V8 with a Supercharger, still it's very light and unique in some ways. It's all aluminium and so on.

To create a lot horsepower from small engines without turbo- or superchargers, is only possible with high revs and expencive sollutons and materials. To bolt a Charger to the engine is not a big effort.

@charliepioneer yeah I understand what you mean, but I reckon it's one of those sounds that, when coupled with the feeling of a merciless power supply attacking some gloriously undulating single lane road, becomes magnificent. After you sell the car you probably find yourself yearning for increasingly frequent trips to the dentist. Kind of like appreciating a new genre of music for the first time, your mind rearranges to love it, rather than futilely wishing for the reverse.

okkk, first time i se the car filmed in such detail. spotted a few probs. the LCDs of the climate and audio, are like my old made in china wrist watch. dial lights are like an xmas tree.buttons of climate and audio seem like membrane buttons of a microwave. the steering wheel is ...odd. when removing the key u hit the stick. dont wanna be a troll but it's a far cry from the aventador, for ex. nice turbo sound tho`

I have never been a fan of any of these types of cars. It is pretty ugly and over-done, tacky is one word that comes to mind. Wonderful car but they need to pull back. Naturally aspirated V12 should reside inside. I dislike turbo cars, never liked them.

hands down the best engineered car of the 21st century.. may not look the best. but the quality and craftsmanship put into it makes up for any actual design issues. i say the Aventador looks better. but this car quality design is by far better. and then again the price reflects that.

Although he has lived most of his life in Italy he doesn't forget his roots: Huayra and Zonda are the names of two strong winds that take place in the Andes. Maybe for an english-speaker they are difficult to pronounce or spell but not for a spanish-speaker!

@DoomDriver I don't know what it is but maybe Italians are humble with their English. The current Republic of Ireland football manager Giovanni Trapattoni always has an interpreter present for press conferences even tough I've seen him being interviewed without her and his level of English is pretty good. I think he and Pagani would get flustered and frustrated if they are searching for a particular word to express themselves. I do it too and I'm a native English speaker. It's just rarer for me.

I don't really see how a Mustang V8 sounds more different than a Chevy V8. Exotic sounds are just amazing like Zonda's V12, Gallardo's V10, 599 and FF's V12 and a few V6s.
