When i had my rd28 in my laurel it was such a smooth and efficient engine...doing 100km/h at 2000rpm just quietly ticking away...never had any problems they are really nice...got and rb30det now by the way
And now you know, bet you wish you hadn't :-p Apparently you can use the crank from these motors in the RB20/25 or somthing and turn it into an RB27....food for thought.
is this a factory fitted option/model?

sure I am. obviously not a TLC std. It's an FJ40 and it fits great to work in mud.
