just to ask do the diesel loco's only use electric mode when its in the park avenue, and switch off to diesel mode when it exist or when it reaches to 125 street or does it use electric mode the whole time until their is no more third rail????? I hope its the second one because that way the train can save on fuel by not using it when it doesnt.
