  • Haha, that easy huh? ;) Thanks man, now I can actually begin to function with the other guitarist in our band :D

    \m/

  • Great vids. Keep it up.. Your way of explaining is very detailed and not overly cluttered. Very visually oriented which works well for me. Thanks

  • is it easyer to make something like a solo or something when i know the note or do i need to know about something more ?

  • @60millionaire Not necessarily. It's a good idea to learn as much as you can. Ultimately only you can decide what you will use. Everyone's process for writing is different. Some people know and use lots of theory. Some don't. \m/

  • great lessons bro, but what's up with the pentagrams on your guitars?

  • i will donate 7 bucks, if that's cool with you

  • @everymoss09 Anything is awesome ;) It's whatever anyone is willing to donate. 1$ to whatever?

  • this blew my mind... had a girlfriend who was a music major (vocal & piano) and I couldn't wrap my head around it. this makes more sense.

  • "Before Christ, Elves were First" <-- always helped me with the b/c and e/f thing when i was learning theory

  • Dude, I took choir for 4 and a half years and I've never heard simple theory explained so well. put it in perspective really well. Good job man :)

  • i know this pattern but I didnt realize that B is direct to C also E is direct to F. Thanks dude now i will not confused. You are A (Awesome)

  • should i do this before learning any chords?like get really comfortable first then take that step thanx

  • @bozo5116 probably yes other wise it can get really frustrating

  • again tnx for the lessons ^_^

  • dude, just wanted to say I love your tone! what amp are you running?

  • Hey I've been playing guitar for like 2 years and I would rate myself on a scale of 1-10 at a 4...I taught myself how to play but since seeking help from your lessons and other lessons I see myself getting better and playing easier/cleaner...would you recommend I start over from scratch or just implement the exercises and techniques I've gathered?

  • This shit is awesome man I've never been so interested in theory...you explain it like its not too easy but nothing you can take lightly I will definitely recommend this to my friends

  • @okcthunder2010 Thanks my friend \m/

  • Thanks for the video man, this really helped. :) Just a quick question though, if there's no note between B and C, what happens if you bend the B note up half a step???

  • @StCrow13 You get C. \m/

  • Thanks a lot my friend. Been playin guitar for years but I never looked into theory because I thought it's complicated and no fun. But this really was helpful and easy as hell! Sub!

  • @Soilwar Glad to hear. I was in the same boat for years and always found theory difficult. I think because of that once I made teaching into a full time day job I tried really hard to figure out ways to explain theory in the simplest way possible. Lots more to come soon. I've been unable to make vids for awhile. But I'm in the process of making new ones, and lots of them will be on theory. Enjoy the lessons. \m/

  • omg thankyou dude for those notes..i thought same its gonna be hard but really thankyou..!

  • Eat Apples Don't Get Bananas Everywhere

  • @Ibanezkurt147 Too late.

  • Everyone who is new to this should note this is if your guitar is tuned to standard tuning (EADGBE).

  • Ok, THANK YOU For sending me the friend request, You actually have no idea how much this video has helped me.

  • this blew my mind. i was already familiar with the 12 digit alphabet or whatever but thought learning where they were on the fretboard would be a nightmare. the second you started showing it on guitar it instantly clicked. thank you so much.

  • Ha ha ha ha haaaaa! Rocking out in front of a chalk board... cracking me up... now that's a guitar teacher... bet Joe Satriani didn't have a chalk board to teach Vai and Hammet 8O) xO() 8O() xO()

  • @dudemusicspace Someone recently commented on another one of my videos, (and I'll paraphrase a little for comedic effect) "You'll go nowhere kid without a backdrop behind ya!" But I say to you my friend! How many YouTube guitar teachers do you see with a 1900's style schoolmarmy black board?!!

  • @ShredGuitarAcademy Yeah... like I said it cracks me up... it's awesome... and environmentally friendly too! I love it... your playing's not bad either ;O)

  • @dudemusicspace Thanks!

  • @eminaru12 I love the fact that he dresses like a pirate no matter what the trends are. You gotta respect that. As a solo guitar player he is one of my all time favorites. But as a songwriter, not so much. I can't really get into pop-ish power metal.

  • @ShredGuitarAcademy Isn't Yngwie supposed to be in the next Pirates of the Caribbean movie?
