To me, the two consecutive lines "like a twitch before dieing, like a pornographic scene" are relative to each other in that both lines are describing a disturbing image. Seeing either can result in severe discomfort. I think that's what the songwriter was trying to communicate. What does "pornographic sea" mean to you?

As u know Offspring made me wanna take up guitar, but the first song i learned to play was Iron Maiden's Children of the Damned. I realized over the years, punk and metal had always been influencing each other. Early Maiden and Motorhead definitely had punk in their style. Metallica are fans of Misfits. And punk bands like Pennywise, NUFAN and Offspring loves Metal too. All this hatred is bullshit.

@BadReligion502 :) .. I love metal too man.. But bands like Rage against the machine, with their cool riffs/solos and effects, with rap and socialist rhetoric had greatly opened my mind. I realized there are many spiritual-socially aware hip hop crew out there. Just that MTV always shows the nihilist and chauvinistic hip hop. MTV kill every genre. They did it with Metal with glam-rock and Punk with Pop-punk/emo

@gothless yah Rage is one of my favorite but yah but now you made think MTV really did kill a lot of genres it looks like they are trying to come backk in like a distorted state right now though metal and punk are coming back but it either sounds the same or doesnt realate enough to the old guitar riffs or vocals like lets say judas priest no one can compare with his vocals or van halen great guitarist it just seemed that the new music just doesnt have that virtuoso.....read on to next comment

As u know Offspring made me wanna take up guitar, but the first song i learned to play was Iron Maiden's Children of the Damned. I realized over the years, punk and metal had always been influencing each other. Early Maiden and Motorhead definitely had punk in their style. Metallica are fans of Misfits. And punk bands like Pennywise, NUFAN and Offspring loves Metal too. All this hatred is bullshit.

@gothless Yah Im a huge fan of both if i was going to be in a band i would choose metal yet i would have punk influenced songs.I think the first song i learned on the guitar was either Nothing Else Matters-Metallica and i also hate how Metal fans fight with eachother like the newer metal fan to the old thrasher fans they both argue over what is real metal
and i know they are both metal but thrash and older metal is what started the new metal today....next comment

@BadReligion502 Used to love Metallica, until St Anger came along, Jason left, the band went into rehab, they literally murdered Napster and in the recent interview with Sam Dunn's documentary Global Metal, Lars had the cheek to say that he is ok with downloading of music. Those incidents had completely changed my perspective about Metallica. They forget their roots, followed trends (St Anger), and are a bunch of mean lying hypocrites. Death Magnetic they have pobably tried to bring back the older Metallica but didnt quite i kind of just sounded like anyother newer metal band hate to say
Now Megadeth's Risk album wasnt to good but they really fixed that problem with United Ambominations
