GH made SO many mistakes with these characters...it STILL bothers fans! Just think about how STUPID ABC is...they have Luke and Laura, STILL billed as THE greatest daytime couple EVER, in the history of the genre and probably in all of TV...and what do they do....destroy them. They should have had them evolve to the END together. Period. Amen.

We could FEEL ourselves in Tony Geary's shoes as he looked out from the balcony and observed Genie Francis. Then to at long last embrace her -- that was as good as it gets, and thank you Christopher Cross, today we STILL think of Laura with every passing day.

im sorry , i watched all of the luke and laura saga and i really enjoyed it, but i really not feeling that laura comes and goes with that medical stuff, it really makes no sence, if the actress is done playing laura let the character go, i'd rather have the best memories of a great love story......wouldn't you ???
It's not Genie Francis' fault, she wants to return to GH. It's the idiots that are Frons, Phelps and Guza who won't bring her back permanently. Genie has said time and again that she would welcome a return but the ABC brass won't bring her back except for these ridiculous short visits. BTW this is the BEST reunion ever on daytime and primetime!!
Of all the Luke and Laura scenes, this has to be the best, my favorite. The look on Luke's face when he runs onto the lawn is priceless, Tony Geary is one hell of an actor. I am tired of all the soap forums raving about Luke and Tracy on GH right now, they cant hold a candle to these two, the only reason there is a Luke and Tracy is because Luke can't have Laura. Someday I hope she comes back and they ride off into the sunset but not after we see more of their romance, they are the real deal.

Yeah, but now thats she's skinny, they are probably scared she'd take over. Tracy would get kicked to the curb.HeHe. She looks Damn Good if you saw her on The View. She lost 30lbs. You go girl!!!!
He always took care of his girl. She should've never had a doubt. I'm glad she went and got "clean" and came back. Now if she would just come back for good.
Genie and her family currently live in L.A. They still have their home and shop in Maine, but they wanted to come back out to L.A. to start acting/directing again.
This is the storyline that hooked me on GH forever. My sister had told me about Luke and Laura, and that this was the week she returned from the dead. So I watched and got hooked. This episode sent me chills.
