  • great song nick. you did a wonderful version of this. i love the acoustic and your voice is well controled and very melodic. love it man. going to my favs-SammyJ-

  • @StickyFrogMusic Thanks Sammy....How is the band going?....alot of practicing and gigs??...Nick

  • There must have been something about Pattie Boyd to have inspired such great songs, I think "Something" and "Layla" and were written for her. Excellent cover Nick!!!

  • @classican Thanks Pete....I was told Laya was.....I wouldn't doubt it for Something as well. BTW I think both of those songs are excellent. In fact Frank Sinatra commented that Something was the best written love song ever written. In my opinion it is definitely up there......Thanks again Pete !!

  • Very cool Nick. Nice vocals.

  • @7761864 Thanks Brian! I wasn't sure if I could hit all of the notes well enough so your comment means alot. I am getting pretty excited to be going to see GL in March. Never saw him live and I can't wait. Have you seen him live before (my educated guess would be several times)?...Thank's again my friend.

  • Good going on this Nick. I just got from my wife Eric's autobiography and will read it next after I'm done reading Keith Richards book. You sound good. Do you ever play any coffee houses in your area?

  • @rhythmantic I have not played guitar/sung out. I have considered it. My brother is a very good guitarist and singer and he has asked me to do this with him. Hopefully at some point. Now would be tough with my wife and I still bringing up four children although we are getting closer to being empty nesters. My job and the band that I drum/sing with pretty much fills up my time but it is all good. Playing guitar & singing with my brother is something I hope to do. Thanks for your kind words Sal.

  • what a strange story....did you read the autobiographical book ? Anyway...you sang and played wonderful Nick !!! all the best wishes ....Karen :-))

  • @karenmuenchen I didn't read the book but I knew about the realtionships....certainly strange....I am gald you like the cover Karen....It was very simply done....thanks !!!! Nick
