  • Brings a tear. Nostalga

  • 0:59 john your such a man!close your legs!! lol

  • John actually looks very handsome at 0:26

  • Paul wrote this song for Julian, The original title was "Hey Jules", and was intended to comfort Julian pain caused by the divorce of their parents.

Valeu, Julian.

  • Apparently it was a lullaby that Paul and John wrote for Julian. It is sad to see what happened to Julian because of Yoko Ono!

  • Does Julian have any kids?, I think he probebly doesn't have , so Julian: get on with this business ,we all want some Vera Chuck and Dave

  • @VICK547 that was Paul McCartney not John Lennon singing that.

  • escuto Beatles desde os 8 anos. Sou feliz!

  • Appalling, to read what james7167 wrote, that John did not mention Julian in his will, nor leave anything for him. Julian's song, "Lonely", seems to me to contain some of the sadness he must have felt about not having spent time with John after the divorce from Cynthia. Valotte is an amazing creation; I couldn't stop playing the album when it first came out. Thanks for these pictures.

  • @ari25adne he did mention julian in his will, but rumor has it that it never got to him :(

  • ITS george

  • this song is something else!

  • 2:57 is that Yoko or George ?

  • @Deathshadow61098 I believe it's George..

  • @DawnRainWasHere I think it's Keith Richards, and the photo looks like it's been taken from the "Rock'n'Roll Circus" show that Lennon did with Jethro Tull and the Rolling Stones...

  • @Deathshadow61098 george

  • PAUL WAS A BETTER FATHER THEN JOHN.

  • @ROTTYLUV4ME Paul had a better upbringing/home family life than John... Think about it.

  • @ROTTYLUV4ME I would shut up if I were you. Johns' father left for war when he was like 5 or 6, and I don't think his mother had time to play with him and stuff. I don't think Paul just as much time with him but, either way they cared about him just as much as each other!

  • Listen to the lyrics...Think about how old Julian was when this song was written. Can there really be any correlation between a 5 year old boy and the lyrics,"Now go and get her..." "...the moment you let her under your skin, then you'll begin to feel better..." " ...now let it out and let it in..."

  • @svanwilliams123 I think he's telling Jules to let Yoko under his skin, to accept her and stuff.

  • @lovemahgeorgie , who is going to speak to a "5" year old, just starting kindergarten...at that level..."Let her under your skin"? That is a concept called "Abstract Thinking" which according to Piaget, does not usually start untl around puberty, or 11-13...just a thought...

  • John loved Julian I mean he was his father, so of course he loved him. Now whether or not John knew how to express that I don't know. I think it had allot to with John's own father, men who have bad fathers tend to be a little gun shy when they have their own. And once again as John said that Julian wasn't planned so that added to the anxiety. Now his relationship with Sean was better but I'm sure that it wasn't as perfect as the media puts out there. Either way it's really not our business.

  • How do we know what John felt for Julian...????? Can anyone think for another person???? Break ups can make for strange reactions.Yoko did influence John no doubt..But can anyone say they were in John's head and know if he felt love for Julian? No of course not!!!

  • The original title was Hey Jules.

  • Povero ragazzo, non si meritava lo stesso trattamento avuto a suo tempo dal padre ...

  • @thinkhard, Paul wrote Hey Jude for julien

  • well this is definitely Paul McCartney singing the song, NOT Julian Lennon as advertised. and yes, I get it, that this song was about Julian. Still, false advertising. so I'm the first one to dislike this.

  • john lennon is a gifted man rest assured he loved both of his kids the same how ridiculous sayin he only loves one some pathetic fans out there if you can call them true fans castin aspersion on peoples characters should be ashamed of themselves any man would love all his children the same for cryin ou tloud rant over bye lol

  • @james7167 Actually, as admitted by Julian himself, John neglected him horribly after he left them and favored his new family with Sean and Yoko. Julian only saw his father a handful of times after his parent's divorce up until John's death. John also did not mention nor leave anything for Julian in his will. Julian had to grow up middle class, working as a waiter to get by and also had to buy back mementos of his father that should have been bequeathed to him. :(

  • @britbrighton in Cynthia's book about John she mentioned that John had written diaries after their divorce which he wanted to give Julian if something happened to him... but they never reached Julian.. I've always felt bad for Julian :(

  • @britbrighton Yeah. It's pretty sad. He bought a lot of things that he should have inheirited at auctions. I read about a lot of that stuff in Cynthia's book, "John". Ever read it?

  • @beatleep No, I have been wanting to though. Is it good?

  • @britbrighton Oh yeah, I couldn't put it down. I learned a lot of things about John. I do admit that some things are immensley disturbing, like on time Julian laughed, and John exploded at him and said that he had a hideous laugh and to "never let me hear your fucking laugh again!" or something of that extent. I couldn't believe anybody would say that to their kid. I was like "Seriousley???"

  • Its Julian PLANKING at 1:29 lol!

  • Paul was more of a daddy to Julian than John...hence this song. Paul wrote it for him.

  • 11:11 Aww, Jules looks so much like his daddy there :)

  • did anybody else notice in the discription beatles is spelled Beat less

  • paul says he wrote this song for julian, but we all know its a song to John. even lennon himself said that the moment he heard the song he knew it was paul's message to him, not julian. you can tell by the lyrics...."you have found her, no go and get her." he was talking about yoko....."you have found someone to perform with".....its so obvious, although paul didnt want to say it, the song was about John.

  • @LadyScorpio39 It sounds sweet the way you say it. Kind of like Glass onion in some aspect

  • the song was gonna be called Hey Jules but Paul wanted to make it easier

  • its all a lie! John always and still does love Julian very much. he always did. its just that John was always away and busy living the live of The Beatles and touring in the early 1963's- 66. if John had the time back then to go spend more time with Julian he would have but he couldn't. he was a very busy man. John loved Julian very much and you can't say its not true.

  • @itscalledBeatlemania The Beatles broke up in 1970. Why didn't John reconcile with Julian then? Julian has even stated that after 1970 he barely saw his father. And for Julian to watch his father completely dote over another child while Julian still never saw him? I'm sorry, but John had more than enough time to reconcile with Julian before 1980. If John TRULY loved Julian, he would have made the effort to be with him when he finally got the chance in 1970. John's actions were inexcusable.

  • i love the picture on 3:43 its so cute!!!!!! why is Paul so charming in every way?! but where did his nose go? i guess the picture's was to old and it just faded away.

  • 3:37 Paul looks so cute in this picture, and the fact that he loves julian so much that he made a song for him is just so charming and heart warming. Paul you really do look sexy.

  • 0:26 is such a good picture of John and Julian. John truely loved his son, plus, John looks really Really sexy in this picture. too bad Julian doesnt look so much like his dad. i mean he looks REALLY cute in this picture.

  • @Arielewen78 i believe thats yokos daughter, kyoko. She was about the same age as Julian at the time, maybe a year or so older. In the picture its John, Jules, Kyoko and Yoko it seems.

  • He didn't love Julian, he left him and his mother. Actions speak louder than words.

  • @julieoftheearth1 Unfortunately, with John that was often not the case. John loved Julian, but since he was touring in Julians first years and being abandoned by his own father (then not quite getting the father-son bond) John just couldn't connect with him. He also didn't leave Julian for good - even when he moved out at first (not to NY), Julian saw him often, and in John's last years Julian was over every other weekend. Sean said the most important people in his life was Sean, Julian and Yoko

  • julian son Cynthia :)and not yoko , !!!!!!!

  • julian son Cynthi :)

  • who would be the kid running with Julian on 3:16 ???

You have very personal photos, that's amazing, I won't ask where did you find it but I am sure thankful that you made this beautiful video!

Julian is a man that inspires so much peace :-)

  • Is Jullian still close to Paul? Does anyone know?

  • @riffmagos yes he is in fact very close to Paul still after all these years. I'm not saying that John was a bad father or that he didn't love Julian but i think Paul was like more of a father to Julian. he loved him and treated him like he was his own son and he still does see him as a son in every single way. they even sang a song together. i dont know when and i forgot what it's called but i herd it and saw the video.

  • @itscalledBeatlemania Ok, thank you so much for the information. Take care.

  • You can see sadness in little Julian's eyes in many of these pictures. He didn't get to see his father that much, as he was born in '63, when Beatlemania was just beginning. Sadly, John didn't have the chance to make up the time lost with Julian & the relationship with Yoko kept them apart.

  • and why can not see face Cynthia when julian is together with her ? why , ?

  • @TheSarna8 Are you referring to the photo on 2:26? I have seen that photo many times and it's bigger, you do see Cynthia's face there, I believe that photo is after the divorce. Perhaps when skizzoglass2 was making the video that part was cropped or something..

  • DEM PICTURES.

  • It's so sweet..Paul really did, and does, love Jules. And John did very much too. He just made some mistakes..just like everyone else does.

  • @bladesofglory12 yes, some children don't even know who their father IS. So many deadbeat parents. John made huge mistakes, but at least Julian was fed, had health care, and knew who his father was.I believe if John lived, they'd be on very good terms-sad.

  • @TheDorr71 Yes, I do too.

  • @bladesofglory12 i completely agree with you 100%.

  • @itscalledBeatlemania Thanks :)

  • aww how sweet watching Johnny and Jules together <3<3 they sure loved each other very much, no doubt about that... 2:36 he looks so much like Cyn ^ ^

  • John was a good father, and a bad one at the same time. You can tell he loved him but he didn't see him and I read somewhere that Jullian was saying how John used to say that Jullian came out of a whiskey bottle on Saturday night. Who says that to their son? I mean, he was good and bad.

  • @jasonaldeanqueen24 I read that same quote from John and I believe he was talking about himself..and having kids in the forties.

  • i wish john and yoko never moved to america, the land of the gun.should have stayed in england.everyday i turn on the news here in the states, another murder with a gun.im sad.

  • @3lullabies i agree and disagree with you.

  • Сын достоин отца!!!

  • I wish John gave Julian the amount of love & attention he gave to Sean but at the time Julian was born Beatlemania was just begining but still John could have shown more affection to Julian like he did with Sean.

  • this... it made me cry :')

  • this vid is too touching for words

  • The real Julian's father was Paul Mc Cartney...

The evidence in the way they stay together...the expressions on their faces..

    that's my opinion...

  • @ChiaraMichela Paul loved so much Julian....because Jules is John's son.Paul loved John like a brother.Paul liked child ,John don't like children in this time...

  • @ballaesmeralda

that's what I meant...I wrote it in other words...

  • @ballaesmeralda Paul is indeed a wonderful father and he was very good with children because he really loves kids. he just didn't want any of his own at the moment. and the fact that John is like a brother to Paul mad Paul love Julian even more. Paul was like a second father to Julian

  • THANK GOD FOR UNCLE PAUL.....BLESS U PAUL!!!!

  • the pictures of paul with juilan shows how much paul loved jules

  • @1365225 you bet i lost my son @ 13 he shot himself in the head 4 years ago you dont know how somwone feels until you loose one of your own i hope you never have to go through it it is pure hell we buried him in his little baseball uniform god rest curtis thanks legallarry

  • bel video..ben fatto! complimenti

    *****

  • Thank you for the nice pictures. Julian was a lovely little boy. I wonder why John was not able to love this sweet guy. He had two sons and Jules was one of them. Yoko influenced him too much. It's a pity.

  • Absolutely. Julian's such a beautiful little boy as his brother was. It's tragic that John didn't spend as much time with him like he should've but the great thing is, Julian turned out to be a wonderful, happy man.

  • @SgtOBrien YOU ARE SO RIGHT!!!!!!! HE MISSED THE GREAT OPPORTUNITY...I ADORE JULIAN AND IS CLEAR TO SEE IN HIS EYES THE LONGING FOR HIS DAD..THAT BREAKS MY HEART, WELL SHOW MUST GO ON.....

  • @SgtOBrien Well, you know Julian was born on Beatlemania and well The Beatles never had time to rest and John never had time to give that love to him,but I'm sure that if he had he would have gave his best to Julian. :)

  • @SgtOBrien Indeed that is true but he was verbally abusive to him before he met yoko

  • @SgtOBrien Well, that's true and John could've done better in the later years, but in the early days with Beatlemania he couldn't do much. He was swept up into this fame and could stop it even if we wanted to. So, I think back then it wasn't his fault. But, it was his fault a couple years later when he wasn't touring and was just at the studio. And it was really his fault when he was with Yoko. But, at least in the late seventies they started to have a relationship.Such a shame it was cute short

  • @SgtOBrien John did love him. Very much. He was just messed up - even though that's not an excuse. He didn't do it to purposely hurt him. You should read 'Lennon Revealed' by Larry Kane. There's one part where Kane talks about John talking about Julian in '64..it's very sweet. And Kane actually knew Lennon and was friends with him for 16 years, so it's not coming from some know-it-all. :)
