there's a way to go twice as fast in the mach speed zones. if you dont hold forward after ring dashing, you go twice as fast for a little bit and can jump way farther. just if you dont push forward after a little bit you loose your speed.

A late reply I'll admit but... It's not as good as Sonic Unleashed at all and it certainatly shouldn't be recommended to first-time Sonic players. But if you are a true hardcore Sonic fan, then get the game. I was dead against it until I bought it. This level (Crisis City) and Radical Train are the best the game has to offer.

I too entered the game with low expectations only to have them exceeded.And there was no Werehog, Big the Cat, Knuckles's levels weren't treasure hunters, the only thing I hat about this game is the occasional glitch.

The strange thing is, that even though I've seen a few glitches, read the reviews, and have seen these videos, I STILL wanna play this game. It may have had its problems, but it looks decent, but that's just my opinion. Seriously, if the fans had not bitched about how it should've been released early, Sega would've made it so much more awesome.

I can understand the glitches sinse the games are speed based the characters generally cover alot of ground in a short amount of time the the level are huge thus making them more suceptable to glitches.

I know the bitching is so irritating, the LEAST they could do is point out what needs improvement, there's a difference between constructive critisism and just plain flaming.

So very true....*sigh*, but then again, people will whine about nothing instead of dealing with the issue, even though their bickering caused it. Sonic and the others may have been slow, but that's because of some features that were made for the normal versions of the stages. Not everyone can have a Mach Zone, and even if Shadow had some, it would probably be the same.

@SOnicpower451 My first sonic game was 2 battle... This is slow compared to 2 battle (i rank all sonic games in comparison to 2battle and none has passed). I played all sonic games after 2battle and all felt slow. IDK what about 2 battle made it feel so fast but it has yet to be duplicated in a sonic game. Mario's acrobatic fun in 64 has been multiplied in Galaxy to make it better and sega really needs to do that too.

10 lives??? I guess a tip is when you run past the car don't go in that same direction cause the tornado will throw it there. This is the same with any other debris.

Because this one wasn't finished, fanboys made SEGA rush and release it, the glitches occur in almost every way to the point of just being unacceptable, the loading screens are a big problem with different sections of the stage, pretty much all of this contributed it being one of the "Worst Games of all Time... Unleashed was better than this-I'd take the GOW copying Werehog than the slow, glitch-infested Sonic we have in this game. Hell, the speed stages had SPEED..-_-

Pressing (and holding) the spin dash button again cancels your spin dash. This makes you begin to run, which means you can jump again. So basically, when you're spin dashing, cancel it and then jump.

Things I hated about Crisis City:

-Short intro to level

-metal surf board was pretty damn useless, seeing that he surfs slower than he runs.

-probably has the most gliches out of the entire game

-mach speed section shoulda been longer (at least let us know what happened to that tornado!)
