Congratulations, what an inspiration you are. My two sons are Marines and I want to thank you for you service and continuing on in service to your country by inspiring todays youth to strive for more than what they know in their neighborhoods. I'd love to read more about your story and your book when it's out.
I watched the video where SSgt Nichols told your story. I see you as an inspiration. When I graduate High School I am going to join the Marine corps. I just wanted to thank you for serving our country and just wanted to say that your story will or already probably has changed some ones life. Keep doing you and dont listen to the haters Good Luck in life Marine Semper Fi
Those are deep words Marine! My name is Alex father of two boys. Have two boys. Older son Daniel 15 going on 16 is one tough intelligent boy. His goal to become a doctor. I told him I wouldn't have the money to send him to college. He is looking at the Military to help when he graduates. If you were to give him advice on why to choose the military what you would tell him. I'm a Correctional Officer no military.

@agladiator12 I would tell him to go to college & get a Bachelors Degree while he's in college he can sign up for the ROTC program which will most likely pay his tution and give him a monthly 4-6 hundred dollars while he's in college as long as he signs a contract stating once he graduates from college he will commission into the military for a four year contract. Its a good deal to me. While he serves he can take classes at night free to work towards a PHD. Also the gi bill will pay for a PHD.
@agladiator12 Much what cfig24 said. What me and a couple of other friends did was join ROTC, in High School. You said your child is 16. Then he should be around Freshmen year That's four years of the ROTC program plus after completing HS graduation he can advance to college join the ROTC program, go for his Bachelors Degree.Nothing like getting paid while going to school.Besides after a total of 6-8 years of ROTC when he commits to his promise to join the military, his paygrade will be high.
Great song. What does your family think about the whole life change that you did? This goes to show that people who messed up in life can change for the better. Keep up the good work and never quit on your dream.
Yes Sir. Thanks. I'm writing a book to educate motivate and encourage kids in the ghettos; to do something better with their life aside from gangs and drugs.
@cfig24 Any update on the status of your book? How's it coming? Any idea when it might be out? Have you got a title for it yet? Am anxious to read your story. Keep the faith!
@tntkop Both of my books will come out after I finish this Online Advertising Company I just started. We don't want to books to play a role in outcome of the business. In the mean time here is a cool to some more back story about my life. You'll like it. urltwit(dot)com//3j9
