I know it's a long shot but if anyone was at Bien Hoa in Nov, 1970 contact me..I was there Nov 17th, 1970 when we took aprox 30 107mm rockets..which killed and wounded several GIs..
MY DAD WAS AIR CRAFT ELECTICIAN AT BIEN HOA IN 1965 WHEN THEY CAME UNDER ATTACK HE SAID THEY FOUND A LOT OF MORTARS THAT DID NOT EXPLODE THE NEXT DAY HE SAID THE USA ISSUE 1942 ON THE BOTTOM OF THEM THEY WERE GETTING BOOMBED WITH THERE OWN STUFF THAT WAS LEFT BEHIND FROM THE SECONDED WW2
Ho chi Minh is never a nationalist but a disgusting TRAITOR. He was a member of the Third Communist International known as "Comintern" established in 1919 by Lenin to fight for the overthrow of the international bourgeoisie and for the creation of an international Soviet republic (the Soviet Union). Therefore, Ho chi Minh must work for interests of the Soviet Union, not for "selfish" interests of Vietnam. In other words, he is just a tool of the Soviet Union to conquer the world.
AMERICA LOST VIETNAM WAR BECAUSE OF ITS BIASED MEDIA!!!
Since anti-war, liberal American media always focused on American and Vietnamese civilian casualties, and ignored the enemy's casualties and Vietcong's atrocities against its own people as in the case of Hue's massacre of 5000 civilians in 1968, to mislead Americans to become against Vietnam war. Ho chi Minh, founder of Vietnam's communist party once said, " the war is not decided in Vietnam's battle fields but in CBS studio!"

keep your rifle on yourself==not the chair. notice the muzzle pointed at another man. My m16 #13 never left my body in the whole war.

Scariest part is that airman trying to hang his weapon on a folding chair...initial weapons training in those days was really loose...
