Joe frequently does covers. I usually hate people doing covers because it sounds like kereoke, with no originality at all...hence, no point. (Hence, Clapton with this particular song. Most overrated man in the business IMHO.) But Joe is a BIG exception. He makes cover songs his own, and they are sometimes better than the original. On this one he makes Todd look pretty good. And nothing against Todd. But he is no JJ. But, then again, who is?

I concur about Clapton's overrating, but i heard that he gives high complements to Todd's guitar playing.

Even if this was studio verson rather than live.....Eric Claptons version is far superior from The GH tribute, as is the version wth the Travelling Wllbury's with Georges son and Prince. Perhaps I am biased as I grew up in a 'Beatlemania 'household of Scousers n the 60's and 70's when George was considered the superior Beatle and independent after the split. I have tried to like this but simply cannot!
