every culture has its own standards of what is acceptable and what is taboo . i have a personal view ,if the laws of a country does not accept a lifestyle you have chosen based on viewing or admiring other cultures then get out. i lived in Saudi Arabia ,men holding hands and culturally acceptable (its not gay for a man to hold hands with other men in Saudi) and another thing is gay or straight no one is allowed public display of affection .yes homosexuality is illegal there
