lol, this is funny because, when i was much younger, i always thought you were supposed to jump to that treetop to get to the bridge after beating deku tree (i didn't know the kokiri stopped blocking the exit after beating deku tree) :D

why? you can't get bombchu whilst a kid without leaving the village. Good trick but useless as it only works once you've left the village...

The trick is not a cheat, it's a perfectly allowed glitch/trick. So yes, it is, useful.
Nope. You dont get bombs/bomchu's in the beginning, so whats the point of that?
Who said you have to do it in the beginning of the game?
It is useful if you're going from the lost woods straight to hyrule field.
