I see thousands of people at Wacken, and I consider myself blessed to live in the US.

Ensiferum played Jaxx in Springfield, VA, and I got to the front row and touched Petri's hand. I hate that these guys don't make billions, but I LOVE that they still play TINY venues in the US where people like me can scream our hearts out.

We shared a moment when Petri asked "WHAT SONG SHOULD WE PLAY NEXT?!" And I was the first/loudest to scream "DEATH AND THE HEALING!" And he just looked at me and laughed.

the best thing about America is that very few people know how awesome metal is...So I'm betting everyone will be jealous that, when I went to an Ensiferum concert, I got up into the front row with zero problem, and got to fist-bump Petri. Finntroll was headlining, but I had to leave after Ensiferum finished. But it was okay, because I got to see the best band that played that night.
