  • @Tommiddlecoat there's an outtake on here now with Rik & Ade, unploaded a few weeks back :)

  • @Tommiddlecoat In an episode that was never broadcast, no-one's ever seen it, and I don't have it available.

  • Glad to see this has outlived Mary Whitehouse.

  • One reason I tuned in was a promo pic of Cindy Day in school uniform a la St Trinians with black stockings and short skirt phwoar!! but I think Nigel Pergram's South African and jokes about the 'blecks' put the final nail in its coffin, at least that is what I remember of this short-lived series. Still offensive today? Who knows, but then Love Thy Neighbour is still considere racist isn't it.

  • I remember watching this series back in 1987 - names like Frig Wickham echoed back to 1970s political incorrectness, however, I found the series really funny!! I was absolutely gutted when they axed this! It has to be released on DVD!!

  • Network DVD must release this

  • @rfitzhen100 Network has already tried and been refused by ITV.

  • Nobody believed me when I told them about this series at school the next day. Thanks for uploading

  • thank you for uploading this..i have been looking for this series for ages. has it been released on video or dvd yet?. would love to buy a copy.

  • Thank so much for putting this on You Tube. You have made my day.

  • mind you the young ones was way worse

  • thanks never saw it when it was on so now i get to see what the hoo ha was about

  • @rouens Justine Thornton is awesome here! I admire her!!

  • Looking back, I can see why they pulled it off the air. But now I think this show is tame compared with some more contemporary stuff. I think ITV caved to media pressure.

  • I remember this and thought it was was very funny. I have a recollection that because of the public outcry not only was the series pulled but they were made to wipe all the tapes too.

  • Grange Hill made me scared enough of secondary school when I was 5. I think this would have terrified me.
