This video just proved to me that Derek Miller is a genius, through his art you can see that he is a visionary. Not to mention all of the instrumentals basically come from him, i'm not ragging on Alex, her voice is so sweet that it perfectly counter-balances the music. But without Derek there wouldn't be a Sleigh Bells, which i can already see is going to inspire a lot more bands and be big a help in finding a sound for the new generation.

@daisydee123 - The song that they are playing at the 3.50ish mark is "Can You Get To That" by Funkadelic. Funkadelic was very popular in the 1970s, as well as the band Parliament - both bands were formed by George Clinton.

Sleigh Bells took the riff from that song, and the result was "Rill Rill".

(all of them) They must make up for this problem in the studio by using pitch correction. Since they admit using Logic, Logic comes with nice pitch correction. My 2 cents worth anyway.

Derek Miller - Poison The Well Derek Miller....fan for life. It is no surprise that after he left PTW that there music and vision started to decline (slightly, I still love them) but he wrote the majority of the music/lyrics for their stuff. Wish nothing but the best for him and his new project.
