Those are values that I admire. Those same values have been taken away from us, americans, with extensive wiretapping and the disgusting "Patriotic Act" that have trashed our Constitution and liberties. Honduras, as of today, it is an example of dignity and integrity for the rest of the world as I see it.

Is it our government scared from the idea that something like this could ever possibly happen in our country?

I'm a cuban american who lived and suffered through the years the unfortunate flavor of tyranny in my motherland. Raised in a country in which I have served our society and also seen my brothers giving their lives for our American flag, all I can assume from the way our government reacted to this event is that they simply had no idea of what values these people were defending in Honduras. Their Constitution was been threaten and their took actions to protect it.
