Its called: Voyage Century Online.

It has significantly better graphics even though its older. However the gaming population has dropped a lot as people forgot about it.

@kevincc13 You can explore, be a merchant, or a battling type person. You start out pretty nice. I could sail all the way to the tip of Africa the first day without doing any tutorials. However since I had no port stuff or anything above starter I only got to the tip and then it wrecked because i couldn't get food. Its not very grindy from what I saw.
