  • proust pruse pro:easted

  • They didn't include the scene early in the movie when Billy Blaze tells how he was "barred for being too good of a player" so he "threw the complimentary watered down drink in the pit boss' fat face" during his visit to a casino. That was a great scene. "Hello, this is Chuck to remind Bill to SHUT UP!"

  • Don't care what anyone says, Michael Keaton is one of the greatest actors of all time.

  • Eh corndog..lol I love this movie...michael keaton is my hero...completely under rated as a great actor

  • "Oh my God....I just stepped on a tack!" (2:37)

  • LOVEEEE BROKERSSSSS!!!!! HA HA HA!!!!

  • THe twinkle in his eye is what got him the part of batman.

  • That Shelly Long was fuckin' hot in this movie...

  • winkerler and keaton were a great double act i wonder why they have never done another film together

  • keaton sorta has these cute eyes....

  • Hi im an eighteen year old girl who is interested to watch a list of michael keaton movies .

Pls help me to make a selection.

I dont like long nude or sex scenes and too much inappropriate content.

i like comedy, good writing, great fighting scenes and romance.

very interested to watch his work back in the 80's.

    thanks

  • @WeComeOnceAyear I'm a huge fan myself. This movie is great, Mr. Mom, Johnny Dangerously, Gung Ho. Clean and Sober is great but it does have a lot of profanity, a little sex and is all around kind of intense. Batman and Batman Returns, Beetlejuice, My Life, The Paper. Pacific Heights is pretty flawed but Keaton makes a scary villain. The Other Guys is a lot of fun as far as his recent films go. He was great as Ken in Toy Story 3. And he directed and starred in a drama called The Merry Gentleman.

  • Kevin Costner is an extra in the frat party scene

  • Michael Keaton is great in this movie, he's great.

  • Michael Keaton, Pittsburgh's own!

  • Has anyone ever asked Bruce Willis if he modeled his David Addison character in "Moonlighting" on this Michael Keaton performance? They seem like mirror images.

  • @andyinoregon: it's been a while since I saw Moonlightning, but now that you mention it, I absolutely agree with you. Bruce Willis was so funny and charming back then. I totally forgot how funny this movie was: Keaton and Winkler were both brilliant and had great chemistry. Even Shelley Long (for whom I usually do not care very much) is quite ok.

  • @CF1975 I remember it well. A Sunday night in March of 1985, and 30 minutes into the 2 hour pilot of "Moonlighting" I told my wife that Bruce Willis was doing his best impersonation of Michael Keaton in "Night Shift." From then on whenever Keaton was interviewed I waited for the host to bring up the subject but no one ever did. Always wondered if Keaton felt honored or ripped off. Full credit to Willis, though; no other actor on the planet, except for Keaton, could have done it as well.

  • @andyinoregon: Moonlightning was indeed probably one of Willis' best performances, but Keaton would probably have been even beter as David Addison.

It's always difficult to say whether actors copy things from other actors, because everything is always in the eye of the beholder and you often take over mannerisms etc unintentionally. But you are right: in this case it looks like Willis studied 'Night Shift' very well. Hopefully Michael Keaton will see that as a compliment.

  • @CF1975

I have often thought if Willis wasn't Ace In The Hole Addison then Keaton should have been. He would have been excellent but still no one else on this planet could play David Addison anywhere near as good as Buce Willis!

  • @andyinoregon: It was the other way around. The whole Addison persona was a ripoff off Billy Blaze. It made me sick to hear him say "Get out of town" and "love brokers" two years after Night Shift was released. I never forgave Willis for this plagarism.

  • @Strrumr Read my comments more carefully. That's my point, exactly!

  • This Is The Best Movie Ever!! Absolutely Hilarious!!

  • wasnt ola ray in dis

  • the full movie is up on my channel. enjoy!

  • The last video of the ending of this film is muted. Youtube has this problem with Warner Brothers. Your best bet to post movies is going to megavideo. They are not as strict about copyright laws as YouTube is. YouTube is owned by Viacom, a big corporate company, so they are strict with those copyright laws.

  • You don't care what happens to the Girl Scouts of America. America!!

  • Nicely put together, thanks for the post!!

  • Watching it now on Go, good stuff.

  • wow, michael keaton is pure brilliance!!!

  • I remember I was 6 when this came out on HBO. Shelly Long in her panties, socks, and shirt was the hottest thing I'd seen. My first "tingly crush" as a kid.

  • Chuck im wearing white

  • He buys a plot for his Dad with all the money he makes off the girls, what a sweet heart.

  • Is the sound removed? I get nothing...

This is such a great movie! VERRRY underrated!

  • p.s. we've got teenage girls in here!!! haha my favorite part of all!

  • haha Keaton's my idol cuz of this movie!

  • This is still Michael Keaton's greatest and funniest performance, absolutely brilliant. The only thing that keeps it from being a flat out 5-star masterpiece is the repeated use of that whiny depressing song, "That's What Friends Are For". Other than that, its an extremely entertaining and hilarious film.

  • @cinemavirtualis I agree so incredibly much. This movie makes me laugh so hard! It never gets old. My father first it to my sister and I. I miss the old NY.

  • I love that Henry Winkler is playing a character that is so different then Fonzie, shows his acting ability.

and I adore Michael Keaton XD hilarious.

  • I need the license plate "I'm Cool"

  • "Love Brokers!! Hahahahaha!! You and Me buddy!"

  • haha ahhh the last clip was really funny...michael keaton, great actor, great singer, really hot. so wheres he disappeared to i ask..?

  • Nice frame!! :-)

  • It just struck me one day, You can tell Keaton is way Jacked Up on Coke in this movie, after all those were the years it was the biggest thing. ...anyway he did a great job. Funny as hell.

  • i dont think so hes just like that and good at acting.

not everyone needs coke to do that..

  • True, it's possible, after all he is good.

  • what is the song playing in the background when keaton is driving messing with the cops beside him

  • That's a Live version of Jumpin' Jack Flash by the Stones.

  • Love this movie. What ever happened to Michael Keaton, Henry Winkler & Shelly Long?

  • Corn Dog!!

  • Still one of my favourite movies!

  • Mine too.

  • What ever happened to Michael Keaton? I thought landing a role in Tarantino's Jackie Brown would kick start his carreer. He's a brilliant and woefully underrated comedic actor.

  • when america was still great

  • SHELLY LONG in the kitchen scene!!!!!!!!!OMG!!!

  • prostitution!!!

  • Luv Brokers HAHAHAHAHA!!!!

  • I'm gonna kill you! You're gonna play tennis...with God!

    Chuck I'm wearing white

    Brillance...

  • Call Starkist.

  • one of the best movies ever!

  • u missed one really funny line. "that barney rubble, what an actor!"

  • IS THIS A GREAT COUNTRY OR WHAT?!

  • "Oh my god.....I just stepped on a tack!"

  • CLASSIC !

  • My best scene in the movie is when Chuck gets "fed up" at the end when the guy smears his egg salad sandwich on the door jamb. Great movie!

  • Shelly Long was hot, I mean very hot!!!

  • 'TRIM THAT !'

  • JUMPING JACK FLASH!!!!!!!!!!

  • Great flick,Shelly Long's ass is perfection in that kitchen sceen.

  • The scene right after pros-tit-tu-tion scene - where they played the Al Jarreau song: has anybody ever heard that song before or since? It's on none of his albums or cd's.

  • The name of the song is Girls Know How. As far as I know it only appeared on the soundtrack to the movie. I used to have it on cassette back in the day. I bought it mainly for that one song.

  • Thanx for the info. I'll keep searching for it.

  • Keaton should go back to his slapstick style of comedies.

  • 3:23 is THE BEST!!!! flippin off the cops!

  • Kevin Costner is a young Artist in this Film

    Nightshift

  • Yeah, someone needs to post the part where the guy says how great of an actor Barney Rubble is.

  • Oh that Barney Rubble! What an actor!

  • Keaton and Winkler i wished they would do another film together i thought they were a great screen duo.

  • lol well put together

  • Shelly Long looked FIERCE in the t-shirt and panties! Holy smokes!!

  • Yeah, this movie gave me the ultra hots for her.

  • This has been my favotite movie for years. The breakfast scene when when charlotte rings chuck is as good as it gets in comedy.

  • Micheal is a great actor.

  • "I'll spell it out for ya, if I have to...."

    PROS-TIT-"TU(TIT)"TION. Brilliant. LOL

  • Had this movie on VHS and probably in my top 5 movies where I can repeat the whole script line for line (Airplane & Animal House, Stripes & Caddyshack the others).

Awesome selection of clips. The Barney Rubble line is funny as hell.

  • LOVE BROKERS!!!

  • I love this movie!

  • this movie was so funny...i do think the scene with shelly long in her panties..is what made her famous..lol

  • i love this movie i seen it on the dvd nice..

  • Thanks for posting the video. This is a hilarious movie.

One of my favorite scenes is where Chuck tells Bill in his portable tape recorder, "This is Chuck to remind Bill to shut up!"

  • "Ah, that Barney Rubble...what an actor." Really one of the most classic quotable movies of all time.

  • Ron Howard's best movie imho.

  • definitely the best comedy ever....7:10 to 7:20 is also extremely funny

  • This is quite possibly the greatest comedy film in the history of cinema. No Joke.

  • Originally Michael Keaton's characture was offered to Henry Winkler. But Henry Winkler turned it down because he wanted to play a role that was far away from the Fonz as possible.

  • the best part is 07.10 - 07.20
