@robodril1 Okay, actual stats: 1976 to 2005. Blacks on Death Row: 52.2% Blacks excuted: 35% Whites on Death Row: 45.8% Whites executed: 56%. Source: Dept of Justice which show that Whites are disproportionately executed. That is what Prager was referring to. & Frankly if you don't want to get on death row, then DO NOT COMMIT MURDER. Yes, Blacks have a higher % on death row than Whites. That's their fault, not the justice system's.

Well, men make up almost 50 percent of the population but account for almost 100 percent of those executed for murder? Does that prove the system is discriminatory against men? I do believe Ron Paul is wrong on his claim of a disparity in the death penalty between blacks and whites. When matched up with the type of crime, prior record, etc. blacks don't get the death penalty any more often than whites do. But being mistaken on this one point is not sickening, its merely being wrong on an issue Paul probably hasn't looked very deeply into. Wanting more and more war is sickening. Ron Paul calls for limited federal government power, reduced domestic spending, avoidance of foreign entanglements, keeping Americans' blood and treasure at home, and a sound currency.
These ideals formed the basis of our governance for the first 170 or so years of our countrys existence. In fact, this was pretty much the platform of the Taft wing of the GOP from the 20s to the 50s.
I am firmly for Mitt Romney, but I can see the appeal of Paul.
