@jmh769 You have made a good choice. It is a great bow. I hope you get it soon. I have used 16,5cm brace height. It is about 6,5 inches. In my Storm nocking point is a bit higher than I normally use in other bows, but I think the best way to find the right place is just to test and try. Try bareshaft tuning and you will find the right spot.
Well, I thought it would be unsteadier but I have been very surprised with this bow. Allthough it's really small and extremely light it behaves really balanced. The feeling is different than with my Border bows. It doesn't give the feel of power stored into the bow but as you can see it performs pretty well. Only thing that could be different is arrow shelf. It could be a bit deeper for thick wooden arrows. Otherwise really good bow and all worth of the price.
My storm should be here any day. What brace height and nock location does this bow like? thanks

Keep it traditional!

Potkaseeko yhtään?
MrGoldenArrow 2 years ago
Sehän siinä onkin, että ei potkaise. Lisäksi on hiljainen ilman jänteessä olevia vaimentimiakin. Nuolihyllyyn tosin pitää jotain suojaa viritellä.
Griffonist 2 years ago
No siinä tapauksessa pitää ottaa kyllä hankintalistalle.

good to see you again, nice "short" bow

Thanks. Yes it is. I'm really happy with it.

nice to see you again!
fast and accurate...I think also fast enough with the wooden arrows;)
btw, what's your opinion, is a shorter bow more difficult (touchy or nervous) to shot compared to a longer bow?

Noni! Olipas mukava nähdä sinut ampumassa pitkästä aikaa, ja hyvin ammuttu. Kuinka painavat nuolet nuo olikaan?
Great to see you shooting again and shooting was good.
How heavy those arrows are?
Trophybow1 2 years ago
Thank you. Those arrows weight about 590 grains.

Both the shooting and the bow are very worthy to see. Congrats Griffonist for that new accurate toy.

Thanks! I really like the bow. It's really handy because of it's size.
