You can sing. Now, I do recommend that you work on your visual presentation skills. But overall, you have the core ingredient of a singer. Its in you! I am a Simon-type and you can be the next American Idol. Just apply yourself. They WILL accept your gift. "IF YOU TRULY BELIEVE."

i listened for the high notes and the incantations.....you hit 'em.. Good range, good tone, good job. get a vocal coach and work on your phrasiology :}, then cut a demo.
You can go places, do you have the confidence to go with your talent?

Wow Wow Wow Wow WOW!!!!!! Susue, that was simply AMAZING!!! Only the diehards know 'IYDB' and you sang it SO beautifully. Niecy should hear this.. Even though you sound similar, you still have your own style! I was waiting for you to do the ending where she holds the note on "I try,(I...try-hiiiiiiii babayy...."). Now do "God Knows" for me? Pretty please? Or, "Why Can't we Fall in Love", or "When Love Comes Calling"? :))

'When Love Comes Calling' is my favorite too! I got a Japanese pressing of it for $30 and it was worth every cent. 'I've got the next dance" has GOT to be one of the greatest disco tunes ever recorded. The orchestration, strings, her vocals-a masterpiece!
