It actually works on 2006 and up RAV4 with built in key, as well as 2009 and up Corolla, and Matrix.

I have a 1996 camry sedan and toyota tells me mine is dealer system. Any way I have tried this method several times but it doesnt work for me. When I get to the step where you turn the key on and back to lock once the door locks and unlocks but after holding the buttons on my remotem for two seconds the remote wont work. I have tried this at least a dozen times same result.

thanks so much. i have a question though. will this work for a 2009 camry? do i have to have a key/remote combo (the unlock fob is part of the key) or can i just get any alarm fob and set it to the car? good grief. i hope that makes sense. thanks ;]
