I encourage you to go do it - the mules are fantastic - gentile and very sure footed. The wranglers are top notch - we can't say enough about what a positive fantastic experience it was. You wont' be sorry. Do the overnight trip to Phantom Ranch if possible.

I will try to do that..when you say wranglers do you mean the human peoples? I don't usually get sore when I ride, but this is kinda different I would think, did you get like really stiff and sore?

the 'wrangler' I refer to is the guide for your group. Oh, you might have a few aches and pains but it's worth it. There's a great DVD about the mule trip - we bought it while out there -the title is "The Grand Canyon Mule Ride" narrated by Wilfred Brimley and it's superb - I've seen it posted on ebay from time to time. That DVD will really give you a perfect picture of what to expect.
