jesus lady thats too many fish in that tank right there!! you would have to be doing water changes quite frequently and have a good setup to deal with the waste these will make. also cramming fish in together with acctually cause aggresiveness - i know this.
She says if you do 75% water changes you can cram more fish in a tank!!! LADY THE REASON YOU DONT PUT ALL THOSE FISH IN A TANK IS because its for the fishs comfort, not because people cant keep up water changes! GEEZE!!
they call this fat lady a pro because she crammed about thirty tetras and other easy fish in a single small aquarium. they need to get these fat rednecks off youtube
a true master aquariest would reach for a much bigger challenge then something such as tetra's and the other bland freshwater fish you have. they'd probably go for chicleds or saltwater fish. i for one have decided to keep freshwater dwarf puffers. there a bit of a challenge but well worth it.
Your not a professional or a nice fish keeper if you put a baby goldfish in a warm, tropical, tank just because your too lazy to go out and buy a 10 gallon tank and a filter.
You don't have to be on a "professional basis" to keep fish that aren't supposed to be kept together -- whether your a professional or a newbie, you shouldn't keep fish that aren't supposed to be kept together, together. A 75% water changes, versus a 25% water change, isn't a big deal, the siphon is doing it all for you anyway.
If you have to do a large water change, I always treat my new water in a clean pail I have strictly for aquarium use, I use two drops of prime per gallon as recomended by Seachem. I put an air stone in the pail for an hour before adding the water to the tank.
As far as the bacteria that grows on plants, filter media, ornamates, gravel and any other things in the aquarium. Changing the water properly will not destroy enough to worry about.
Nice tank I have a 75 gallon and I would like to have a lot fish in the tank. So I should have like 50 and that would be ok? Like two in our so
