How on earth? I wasn't even aware Mei Ling had an actual in-game model. Naomi either. I thought they were just 2D codec screens.

well you heard wrong. NONE OF THIS is in MGS1. It is from Metal Gear Solid: Special Missions. The spin off VR Game.
