@FengRuiXuee I know a 34 year old guy with Marfan and he has the inteligence of a 14 year old. He has lived in the same town all his life, and still gets lost. Once he ended up in a city 60 miles away. After several years of marriage, he still can't find his way to his in-laws' house. Your 1 friend who is not mentally slow is lucky.
@aaallenania Most people I know with Marfan are extremely bright. Even more so if diagnosed at a very young age, always knowing they can not do physical work. They often do very well academically, at least if level of pain lets them. As for getting lost in a cookingpot like the guy you know. That can happen anyone, Marfan or not! I know many non Marfs who get lost everywhere, and I have many friends without Marfan who are in their mid 20's like me, but their mental level is like early teens.

People with Marfan are NOT mentally slow! I have several friends with Marfan and one of them is the most intelligent person I know!
