well im not realy being childish becuase i've actually owned the G1 for awhile and it just wont stop having problems. the OS on the iPhone is SOOO much smoother. not once have a i had an application force close on the iPhone like i did on the G1. and i doubt i had a faulty one because i cousin of mine has the G1 today. of course he's saying he likes the G1 better(because he owns it) messed with his G1 and there are still force closes on apps.

but i've messed with his G1 and there are still force closes on apps. iPhone battery life is also a lot better because on the G1 you cant turn off the process of any application manually unless u turn off ur G1. this is because the G1 allows up to 6 apps to run in the background which totally KILLS the battery. and the G1 is very bulky and unattractive. so i am not just assuming that the iPhone is better. but OVERALL it is better because i owned BOTH phones. tmobile is also very unreliable.
