I DON'T KNOW IF SHE MENTIONED THIS: but this stuff STAINS. Beware and know how to use it. Its anti-inflammatory which can be used in small amounts to clean insides (tsp). Good luck I think I might try it on my brown skin. White+yellow= yellow. Brown+yellow= ?? I'll find out.

QUESTION: How do you get the yellow stain off you face?

This is my second night trying a turmeric mask, which is just turmeric, raw honey and a few drops of fresh lemon.

My skin feels amazing after, so soft. I washed my face 3x's after I was done, and I'm an African American with caramel color skin.

Any tips =)

ok umm....first of alll don't say its rong, you did it rong..u used enpugh of the mask for like a week...AND i don't know ur recipe for it.but its rong becuase you used way to much.

OK this is the 2nd time I've seen (use BC asprin) for your face... this is what I have to say~people dont use BC asprin it has added caffine which I dont think your skin needs.... and to add it to a tumeric face mask seems kinda pointless, tumeric is already an anti~inflamatory... why would you need two? Also BC asprin is more expensive then plain asprin.. so whats the point?

lol i remember my first turmeric mask. i just made this thick paste containing water and turmeric. right before i went to see avatar. i was BRIGHT yellow, with EXTREMELY BRIGHT blotches on my spots (i figured using more on my spots would quicken the healing time). i had a good time though. =[

Hi,I'm Indian. All you need is turmeric powder and a little bit of milk or water and apply it where your scars are. It lightens skin so you may want to take a q-tip and apply it on minor scars. If you want to make your face lighter which I doubt put it all over your face. But ya just a bit turmeric and a bit of milk and continue for a while and scars are so light you can't see them!

@tinyyuki fresh milk cream! meaning you have to buy raw milk and boil it- you will get thick cream on the top of the milk after boiling that is the fresh milk cream you use. Store brought cream has lot of preservatives and it won't work.  You need fresh milk cream.

I'm recreating an experiment gone awry just for the lulz, I posted a link to a real turmeric mask recipe video that has a sane amount of turmeric. I'm making fun of myself for the first time I did a turmeric mask. :)

The mask I use now is honey, greek plain yogurt, a bit of flour that begins with "d" and is driving me mad because it's on the tip of my tongue and I can't remember it, and 1/4 -1/2 teaspoon of turmeric. Or I use Vicco cream because I'm lazy.

@fuzzybluelogic you must use a small amount of tumeric (as much as your last fingernail) for whole face and neck 2. It doesn't work fast as chemical facial whitning it take more than 2 - 3 months before you see the result.

i use tumeric cream.i like the 24k gold kind,i like the smell and it moisturises yet no greasyness. i just hate turning yellow (er!) so i dont use it often.good stuff tho. how do u deal with being yellow dude?

The yellow goes away in the shower. I usually let the yellow stain stay after just washing it off with warm water and then whip out the scrub in the morning. Yellow-B-Gone and skin B awesome.

I also use Vicco Turmeric, when I'm feeling saucy
