The difference between Van Halen and EVERYTHING else at that time is so far beyond. It stand up ven now as such strong writing and explosiveness. Just great rock. Nothing like it today.

I saw them back then(Best show ever)& Roths first solo tour . And i did"nt care at the time but Roth was forgetting words all the time & watching this & other old clips i can see why they never put out a live vid. Roth would have to sing all the songs right & he's more concerned w/ shakeing his ass. I love the first 5 albums but being able now adays to see this great footage of the band its easy to see Roth is NOT but could have been the greatest frontman ever if he cared more. He's all hype.

Even though I hate getting older, I realize that I lived during the best decade ever for music--the 70's! It was incredible seeing Van Halen, Kiss, Aerosmith, Black Sabbath, Rush, AC/DC all during their peak years! It was fantastic, and loud!
